    DR james andrews gave beckett a clean bill of health after his examination. per wbz tv 4. good news. he looks to start next friday against the rangers.

    Thanks for posting this, any info as to what was causing the discomfort in his fingers, quite the mystery.

    If Beckett had to be shut down, so would our playoff chances to say the least.......

    they just said he was fine. theo said they sent beckett down there so he would have peace of mind. he said they thought he was ok before they sent him down there. makes sense. you dont want a pitcher afraid to throw or concerned about his health. what ever was the problem it wasn't serious enough for the doc to find anything. they did a MRI and injected his arm with dye among other things. now beckett can throw gas without thinking hes going to blow his arm out.
