Bacarri Rambo is so salty

My only recollection of Bacarri Rambo is his getting run over in a highlight reel play from earlier this season.

Buffalo Bills fans floating in the Dead Sea...

Just needs Buffalo hats on these guys with Fonzi in a bills shirt jumping over them :D

It's more disrespectful to take the pedal off of the gas because then you're saying that the other team has no chance to come back.

But whatever, Sore Loser League is the new normal.
Unfortunately, this is what society has become

This is exactly how I've always looked at it.

Such Notions come from a Good Place ~ that is something I fully understand and even admire.

Ours is a Social Species ~ we instinctively feel Empathy for others, even our Rivals.

The Impulse to protect the Dignity of those we've vanquished is understandable and indeed commendable.

But I believe that this "Don't run up the Score" nonsense, despite the genuinely Good Intentions that compel it, is a misapplication of these kindly Instincts: There is far more Dignity displayed in giving your Foe your very best for the entire Contest than in the horrifying Condescension and Disgrace of Mercy.

No Man or Woman with any Character at all would wish such Disgrace.

I'd be pissed at my team for getting embarrassed. I was never offended when teams tried running up the score on us. The worst whining was Coughlin *****ing at Bucs for trying to force a fumble in a kneel down on a one score game. It's ****ing football you don't have to stop playing for sportsmanship. Go play baseball if you want to adhere to a thousand unwritten crybaby rules.

I'd normally agree with you 100%, but this is sort of a special case. Players are giving themselves up and not protecting themselves, and the other team knows it. It's dirty and cheap.

If you've got your starting defense and starting QB still in the game down by 30, the other team is under no obligation to stop trying. But that play you're describing is, to me, similar to blasting someone in the back after the whistle, or hitting someone 5 yards out of bounds.

Obviously this is going to be Rex's disrespect card to get them amped up this week. It's not like the Patriots don't use that card so good for him. If I was the Pats I'd start the game with a bunch of misdirection plays to take advantage of them coming out over=aggressively. Even some simple runs where the line slants left but the run is to the right. No reverses or high risk stuff where they get to use their team speed. Just stuff to help them lose their leverage.

I'd like to see more of that playaction with no RBs in the backfield, like they did a couple of times in the first game.

Ha ha. I've seen tackling dummies put up more of a fight than that. I must say, I don't respect him now. Think he'll cry if i say that?

Can't believe you guys are getting after this Rambo dude - he has some pretty intelligent insights on Mondays game:

"We just have to know our assignment and do our job. We can’t do too much, we can’t do too less, we have to do our job"

On a team chock full of MENSA candidates this guy is most likely the General.

Rex is going to give him two stickers on his locker for his "spirited comments"..... Rex likes "spirited" players..
