Does that sound like a guy who lets a good defense or running back or whatever "carry" him or a guy who will throw questionable passes to make sure everyone knows "he da man."
It is from Dan "the man" Marino. Brady of that era (and you are DEAD wrong about 2002 - look up passing TD leaders for that season), Johnson, and even Dilfer were better at keeping their ego in check than some guy you probably think of as good.
