And you wonder why people act the way they do towards you.
It took you and Bruins29 45 minutes to troll along, you boys are slipping. The OP is right, Belichick has done a terrible job in this years free agency.
But it diddnt take you long to post another narcissistic "I know everything and those who cant see what I see are wrong" post. Had you just stated your opinion without the other garbage maybe you would not be ridiculed....again.It took you and Bruins29 45 minutes to troll along, you boys are slipping.
Does it really matter if they tried? I mean we had to use a franchise tag on our kicker, I'm not criticizing management I wondering what exactly they are doing because I find it hard to believe that we could not come to an extension deal with any of the players, not even our kicker.
Man you had to turn it personal quick you must have some real strength behind your opinion. And you wonder why people act the way they do towards you.
I know the team is coming off a Super Bowl win so the level of concern is diminished by that recent success. That said there is legitimate reason for concern.
Ridley - starting RB
Vereen - starting 3DRB
Connolly - starting LG and offensive captain
Wilfork - starting NT and defensive captain
McCourty - starting FS and defensive captain
Baring some last minute contract these players are all going to hit the UFA market on Tuesday.
I am truly shocked that we have gotten this point with McCourty and Revis, Devin should have been extended last offseason, his brother accepted an extension from the Titans so I do not believe this was a case where he was determined to hit the open market.
Revis I do not understand, why put a $25M number on year 2 and let it get to this point? Now we will have $5M in dead money against the cap even if we sign him later in the offseason. Wilfork, I shocked we couldn't get him to take a pay cut, on top of that Siliga is RFA and Branch is a UFA so unless you have 2 smaller DT in Chris Jones and Easley on the roster.
I think it is interesting how many of us talked about the Broncos going all last season, but their cap situation is significantly better than us, and they still have their star CB under contract (Talib).
I think not tagging McCourty was a mistake. This is a terrible UFA market in the secondary and not much of a draft either he is going to get a ton of interest. It would if the player wants to test the market - there is one franchise tag. Every preventative measure comes with a price the team has to be willing to pay if the player wants to go that route. The Pats have a big turnover every year, and constantly add new pieces in order to adjust. Some players want the resume of playing for the Pats and move on to better deals. Others like the environment and will take a little less to play for a winner. But the players do know the Pats tend to offer less than the best deals in free agency, so it really depends on what the player is looking to do. Even kickers. And the Pats sign intelligent players, which means they are unlikely to accept an empty deal that will not risk big dead money hits with injury.
This year is no different than any other free agency period. I wish I could answer precisely what they were doing, but part of the reason people are anxious right now is they do not broadcast the plan. I have no doubts they are working on some of the above, and hope they shore up Revis, McCourty and Connelly. Wilfork may still return. My guess is Vereen knew what type of deal he would get from the Pats, and wanted the bigger deal (see Woodhead, BJGE, etc.). Ridley is broken right now, so he may come back on a 2-year "prove it" deal, but likely would be better served picking up with a new team that doesn't go with committees to increase his current value.
Man you had to turn it personal quick you must have some real strength behind your opinion.
Pathetic, you really are ****ing predictably pathetic with your posts. Go away, seriously stop quoting the posts of someone who has zero respect for you and could give 2 ****s what you have to say. Find someone who actually wants to hear what you have to say.
Wow, that took some time. But was inevitable.
Lol you are so simple you don't even see that you ridiculing posters that say something you don't agree with is the same thing only you are offensive in the process of being narcissistic. But it diddnt take you long to post another narcissistic "I know everything and those who cant see what I see are wrong" post. Had you just stated your opinion without the other garbage maybe you would not be ridiculed....again.
Brady6 being wrong about something. There's a novel thought. We don't know if Revis is going to "hit the FA market", so your thread title is wrong. I'll change it.
I didn't say you are pathetic I said you were "predictably pathetic with your posts on here" I was speaking to the post not the person. Simple comprehension. No, it was not really personal. I was just curious why you posted your opinion is some reality that only a few can see. Its called a question brah.
I dont think you should be calling anyone pathetic here. I mean really? You have done things on this board that go beyond pathetic. Should we rehash?
You sound mad brah.
Nobody should denigrate players for doing something, if given the opportunity, they would. NFL players have a finite amount of time to make money playing football. If they're wise, they are set for life.If McCourty can grab $9M a year for a few years, most of it guaranteed, he should grab it. Every $1M he banks is another generation of little McCourty's that he can underwrite. It would be profoundly selfish of him to walk away from that just because for 3-4 years of his 80 year life he wants to play for the Pats vs. another team.
The same is true for all of the other players.
Perhaps the Pats "can't come to an extension" because those players know they can get much bigger money from another team than the Pats.
Elway gambled and lost BIGTIME.
Gun Hoe is calling me simple? Wow!Lol you are so simple you don't even see that you ridiculing posters that say something you don't agree with is the same thing only you are offensive in the process of being narcissistic.
For the record that line about the segment of posters who won't see it, that was specifically added for you, Ivan and a few others, I was essentially setting the bait that I knew you were going to take and unsurprisingly I was right. I was just letting everyone else know that 1/4 posts would be you or one of the other chicken farmers talking **** that has zero to do with anything.
I'm right about the things I say on this board more than 99.9% of the posters on here and that's what pisses others off is they try and try but never succeed in their attempts to make me look wrong. I said "set to hit free agency" the general belief is that Revis is set to hit the market, if you want to hang your hat on a technicality that he is currently under contract for $25M a number we never even paid Tom Brady then you can feel free. But don't come out with troll statements cause you don't like the fact I'm more knowledgable than you and it makes you sad inside. Cause I'm not trolling around this board talking **** about you like a 12 year old.Brady6 being wrong about something. There's a novel thought.
