Had four carrier for four yards. If Blount goes down, then I might have a different opinion. But it's not like teams are beating down the door to sign the guy right now. While I'm not advocating bringing him in (I'm really not), I don't think you can ever have enough bruisers. I know that's not the way of the game these days, but the Pats morph every week so I would imagine there might come a time we might need someone like him. With that said, I don't think he was active for any of the playoff games last season. Plus, if you're getting cut from the Dolphins, then you're definitely doing something wrong. I don't think he was a casualty of the numbers game. There is a definite reason why this guy keeps getting cut, and I don't know if it's all talent or lack thereof. There were some grumblings here about him behind the scenes after he left. So I don't know. Now, if Blount goes down . . .
Or he's just not that good.No doubt that there's something behind the scenes that we aren't aware of, whether that be multiple issues showing up on time, a poor attitude, a lack of strong work ethic, or any/all of the above. I doubt we'll ever know the whole story, of course.
Thank you for the correction and I agree. Like I said, if you're getting cut from the Dolphins, then you're definitely doing something wrong. I can't even name their starter. LOL I really can't. There's something kind of off about the kid. There just has to be. I really think he's shown some talent. It's either attitude or work ethic (or both). He played in one playoff game last year (AFCCG). There's something not (yet) public about Gray that should be telltale. My guess is poor work habits.
I find at fascinating that people can post on a football message board (some for over 10 years) and still know nothing about the game. Truly impressive. What do those two things have to do with each other?
His name is Jonas and he dances on the sun! But yeah Pierre Thomas would fit much better for what the pats want, obviously he can't replace Lewis but Gray would be behind Blount. It's funny people fell in love with Jonas Gray based on one game. It took an entire season for people to not hate LeGarrette Blount.
Sorry Gray is a JAG and not a need. Give me Pierre Thomas over Gray.
This guy Richardson they had in for a look seems as though he might be promising. It's funny people fell in love with Jonas Gray based on one game. It took an entire season for people to not hate LeGarrette Blount.

I'm not but I would figure they would want a back who is of a similar type to the one they lost and Gray isn't a pass catching backWhy would anyone expect our #4, likely inactive, RB to be anything but a JAG?
He's got an attitude problem. Give me Ray Rice over him any day. Nobody knows how to hit his wife better.
Does anyone have proof that he has an attitude problem? Sounds like something that was made up on patsfans.com and everyone just ran with it.He's got an attitude problem. Give me Ray Rice over him any day. Nobody knows how to hit a hole better.
Jonas would be a better option than Ray Rice if Ray Rice were dead perhaps. That is taking out the "I punch women" factor which kinda makes the whole thing a non-starter anyway. Now THIS I can get behind. Dale and Holley were debating the merits of Ray Rice. Jonas is a much better option.
Jonas Gray cut by the doofins!!! I'm sure he has learned his lesson!! We need a pass catching/ change of pace RB .....and Jonas Gray needs a JOB!!! Make it happen BB!!!!!
I think mostly the supposition was made because Bill buried him so absolutely completely.Does anyone have proof that he has an attitude problem? Sounds like something that was made up on patsfans.com and everyone just ran with it.
Maybe he was late to a meeting and just not good (as 100 posters have pointed out)
I just love the "attitude problem" thing and how it might have been completely manufactured out of an assumption.
Yeah, and I can see people thinking something is up there.I think mostly the supposition was made because Bill buried him so absolutely completely.
