Can they do an extension? If not, should they cut him? He counts $16m vs the cap so there is no way he comes back under the current deal structure.Amy chance that ngata gets cut?
He said that he's playing.I will be surprised if Vince plays in 2015.

"So this is the tale of our castaways..."Don't know that one. Can you hum a few bars?
Based on what will be required to sign Revis and DMC, I don't see any possible way he comes here. Hes 31 and will certainly command major cash in 2015.Ngata will cost us, unless he decides he really wants to play for a championship team.
I won't, it was pretty clear in his letter that he feels he can still play. There are plenty of teams that could use him as a rotational player and he is a respected leader.I will be surprised if Vince plays in 2015.
My possible realistic destinations for him are (now that my Denver theory has been blown out of the water):
Texans (O'Brien and RAC connection)
Atlanta (Pioli and Dimtroff and need to improve defense and install leadership although I don't know if he fits Dan Quinn's system)
Philly (tons of money, needs to improve defense although don't know if it is a fit)
Dallas (need to replace several players leaving in free agency)
I think he'll play. I think he'd be worth $3--5mm a year plus incentives to one of the many teams looking to plug holes in their D. He could probably get a two year contract with a lot of it guaranteed if a team (Dallas, Philly) thinks he is one of the "missing pieces" as they try to get to the SB next year. That's a lot of coin and I hope he picks it up.I will be surprised if Vince plays in 2015.
