The 2013 season: The Jets suck (as usual)

And what does that make him? A defensive coordinator, not a head coach.

that may be his perfect place ... you'll certainly even hear from a lot of jets fans who want him gone.

for the record i like his aggresive nature ... and his "us against the world" enthusiasm ... it seems to inspire his teams to play above their talent level.

the jets front office has made a couple moves in bringing in Idzik as GM & Marty Morninweg as OC which have relegated Rex to 2nd or 3rd in charge of personnel & offensive decisions. so, he has lost much of his clout as HC which may turn out to be best case scenario for the jets.

Looks like "detpatsfan" is out of commission... he should have been banned long ago. He's a tool JI poster who wasn't even creative enough to think up a better gimmick account than his variation of "detjetsfan."

People should have figured things out quickly when he consistently called out Rex as the "worst coach in the game," and talked about the awesomeness of Tebow and Hernandez getting acquitted and coming back onto the team. He has two sig photos of Mike Francessa and Peter King. It's like he entered some alien world and thought we held these two people in high regard based on his research.

He created a gimmick account to come up with the most absurdly blind homeristic things a Pats fan could ever say, only to incite legit posters. Sorry for those of you who were taken.

"Me fooled Patsfans but good! Told them that Rex was a lousy coach and that the Jets sucked and ... and ... they agreed with me. Hurr! Hurr! Hurr!"

rex has a lot of warts ... much of what you guys point out being some of them ... he also made a big coaching mistake bringing in sparano as OC last year ... i remember dolphins fans coming up to me & saying ... dude ?!?!? wtf are you guys thinking? ... i was not into the hirer ... but still thought it was sour grapes ... until the season started :(

he did not help sanchez out at all either and should get held accountable for some of that too ... as well as media blunders.

giving credit where credit is due ... the man does know defense though.

He knows his defense but we also spend high picks on the D every year so it better be good..The team gets better once Rex goes and we bring in a young offensive minded coach..a Shaw type

LOL, the Jests are getting exactly what they're asking for. An easy win to pump them up for the rest of the year. Two and O would be the worst thing that could happen to the Jets, and the best thing that could happen to Pats fans everywhere. Two byes don't come often, but when they do, BB knows how they should be treated. A restful loss for us, and a crushing blow for the Jets going into next years draft. Rest>Win>Jets out of the top pick<Rest.

I'll still take the win though. It'd be good for laughs on the jets sites anyways.

Obviously this man doesn't play well with others.

Pats probably blew them out that night....as usual Maybe even the butt fumble game. :D. My bet is Complain-Ian left that part out. The Jesters we ready to run through a brick wall, but not quite ready to run through Vince Wilfork.

Self edit: Complain-Ian wasn't around for the butt fumble game (however I'm sure his salary still dented their CAP )

I agree. A win for the Jets would be the worst thing for the organization it means Rex Ryan the worst coach in football might actually end up surviving another season and the Raiders or Jags (sign Tebow already) win the Clowneybowl.

You laugh but that level of analytical thought is a sign of a high-functioning Jest fan. :)

What the **** is this filter? I can't figure it out, it's like a mystery to me.

It's simple...you cannot post pee pee,caa caa, doo doo or tons of fresh, steaming, runny feces smeared all over Wrecks Cryan's face and crammed in his big mouth.

anything else is fair game...

:eek::eek::eek:

well..maybe you can...I was just trying to use an example. A little too graphic?..well...so is public admission to being a deviant toe sniffer/fondler, public profanities in front of children, decades of gluttonous buffet table attacks and ice cream parlor weekend vacation stays.

This was before the game, what game it was me not know. But it would have been funny if it were the buttfumble extravaganza

Since we play the jest tonight this might have deserved its own thread but.....

Anyways

Green Day: A great rivalry continues

On Thursday night, the New York Jets and New England Patriots go at it again, the 106th game in the rivalry. For the record, the Patriots lead 53-51-1. I did a quick check, determining that I've covered no fewer than 52 games between these two teams. That's pretty much three full seasons of Jets-Patriots, not to mention a lot of off-the-field news between them.

There have been so many memorable contests over the years, but I think the most memorable occurred Jan. 16, 2011, when the Jets stunned the Patriots in the AFC divisional playoffs, 28-21. It was defintely the highlight of the Rex Ryan era.

NO, the greatest game of the rivalry was played on Thanksgiving day 2112. Years from now no one will remember that playoff game back in 0'11 but the Butt Fumble game will live on for many years, repeatedly shown like the Immaculate Reception or 'The Catch'

The Jets haven't played above their talent level in a long time.

He really is simply not a smart man.

jets haven't been able to sustain success since being 8-5 in the 2011 season and choking away the final 3 to finish at .500. that is hard to do though if your qb is playing poorly regardless of how good or bad the hc is.

i think most pats fans would say rex has been smart enough to challenge brady with his defensive schemes more than most of his peers have been able to.

Some folks don't take kindly to green slime ...
