But not as violent as that background "music." :bricks:

Forget waterboarding, playing that should be sufficient enough to break the will of most individuals. Sheesh, my hearing...

PlainOldEd is plain old smart....

I can't claim to be any kind of expert - but watching the tape on Tavon Wilson, he looks like a different player the few times he's been at the safety position compared to when he's a cornerback. I wonder if the game film from 2010 (i've only seen the Missouri game from that year) bears this out.

From a very small sample size, he looks much more comfortable playing as a safety - plus he's a wrap-up tackler and for a db it looks like he can sift through trash as a play is developing and find the ball-carrier better than most. I don't want him taking McCourty or Dowling's snaps on the outside, but he seems like someone I'd be comfortable with playing deep safety.

He played CB because of injuries and he put himself forward to fill the gaps left by the injured players.

Watch the highlights against ASU (they're on this board somewhere :p) he plays all over in the secondary that game, has a good safety blitz, stuffs the RB for a loss twice and sniffs out a WR screen for a minimal gain.

Too bad Ebert got into football late. Has the mentality to shred on D . Man is he fast down the center of the fields on kickoffs. Looked like opposition steered clear of this nut. BINKY ALERT.
Wilson....I defended the pick without watch the highlights....eeeek.
The Arkansas DE seemed to cause pain and injury to every QB he hit. .
Hightower just gets it.
The Cuse kid has stout legs for a long dude.....No Crable there...it will be fun watching him develop.

One way to get rid of Stinko....have him field kickoffs and send Ebert after him....Twitter alert....early retirement

He is always late. Good fit for us then:D

Yeah, I've noticed that as well in most of the videos I've seen of him.
Maybe the second round pick was more indicative of his special teams abilities <shrugs>.

Awesome videos Ninja. The writing stating where the player is lining up is immensely helpful.

Dennard looks better than Wilson. If his legal problems clear up and stay clear he will make this team as a CB. Whenever he was covering a guy he did a good job, especially against Marvin McNutt and Iowa. Great timing and technique breaking up passes. Games against Wisc. and OSU aren't that pretty. Games against MSU, Iowa and PSU are pretty. He had a few mistakes when he played zone / safety. And despite his willingness to be physical his tackling is poor. Still an NFL caliber player. There's certainly been worse playing for us recently.

Wilson has way too many mistakes for my liking. Still scratching my head and hoping I'm wrong. To think we could have had Worthy as well.

What i'm wondering where does Ebert fit in? He's got great production and reportedly ran a 4.38 but is considered as more of a slot receiver? Edelman in trouble? Anyways i like this guy.

I really like this guy. I really wanted Devon Wylie of Fresno State, but this guy was more productive. I can't understand a guy 6'0" 190 who runs a 4.38, catches 75 passes for over 1,000 yards and 11 TD's would be there in the 7th round. Makes you wonder why he fell to #235.

You know, I've learned over the years that until a rooky gets on the field, there is no way to tell if they can play in the NFL...no matter what round they are drafted in. I'm willing to take a wait and see approach even with Tavon. ;)
I will say this though. Hightower looks like a BEAST, Jones has potential and that Bequette kid looks dangerous. My goodness, the kid looked like he was trying to kill the quarterback. I saw roughing the passer penalty flags fly in my mind. Very HIGH MOTOR on that kid. Dennard is an interesting pick. I can see why so many of you are high on him.

From the videos of Bequette....I LOVE this kids aggression! It's like he has a personal vendetta against the opposition QB's and he lets them feel it too!

How did someone who got 10 sacks in the SEC last season last so long in the draft too? What a steal this kid could be!

I agree with the above though, a few of them would see the flags fly if he hits NFL QB's like that, especially if it's the likes of Peyton.
