Bruschi: 'You don't do this to Randy Moss' - New England Patriots Blog - ESPN Boston
Minni is very much a zoo. Ever since Ziggy bought the team, it's been headed into the Twilight Zone.
You couldn't intentionally write this sort of a script, but now that it's playing out, it might make a great football movie.
If Moss gets picked up by one of the Pats upcoming opponents, would he be the first player to ever play for a team and then play against that team on two different teams in the same year?
Moss not officially released...yet - Extra Points - Boston.comVikings players were “strongly, strongly opposed” to Moss’ release, according to Glazer.
OOOOH thats a good one, i forgot about that. This situation is beginning to resemble when Ron Meyer fired Rod Rust in 1984 only for Meyer to get fired the next day.
I'd agree with you if Parcells was still there in an active role. But he's not. I'm not sure what's going to happen, but I don't think either the Jets or Phins will get Randy.
I am surprised New Orleans hasn't been mentioned much in the Moss sweepstakes. You got the 2nd best coach in football, and a top5 qb and a great southern home fan base which could appeal to Moss.
I can't see him going to the Jets either. Even after yesterday's shut-out loss, I think the Jets have to still consider themselves strong favorites to make the post-season, and ultimately won't consider Moss worth the risk of upsetting the apple cart. No point in potentially disrupting Sanchez's development by forcing him to assimilate a new receiver into the offense on the fly, as well as deal with the added pressure of needing to keep Moss happy or get thrown under the bus in the post-game presser. Furthermore, Moss would make Edwards somewhat redundant, and thus risk alienating a receiver they have more invested in long-term.
I don't think the Dolphins have as much to lose: I don't think they're really concerned with nurturing Henne, and I think they know they're not quite playoff caliber as constituted.
Vikings plan to waive Moss | StarTribune.com
The Vikings fans seem to be a tad upset with their coach.
