I don't know why everyone is afraid Moss may be in the AFC or even face the Pats again. His only win was verses Dallas and he had 1 catch verses the Pats. I say bring it on!

I just got back to a computer, and I haven't read this thread yet so, for now, I'll start by saying "Comedy gold".

Really, I can't think of another way to put this.

I truly want Moss back, I know I am in the minority - but I almost feel like Moss has realized what he had here, and would buy into the Patriot Way as he did back in 07. I was for the trade at the time, but let's face it - the offense has not run a fraction as efficiently as it did with Moss, and Moss has been humbled tremendously in the past few weeks - his ego, his detriment, would be less of a factor now.

And, I truly do not want Moss going to another upper tier AFC team, that's for sure.

And I know thanks to these rules we have no way of getting him back.

That said, it is - at the end of the day - just plain hilarious how this played out.

Let's say Buffalo claims Moss and he doesn't want to play for them...what then?

he can go anywhere he wants i think. when your waivered, and a vet..i think the player has a choice.

Then he sits. I think this was owner driven since Chilly stated at 11AM he had allowed Randy to remain in NE because he had family there and he would be back in Minnesota on Wednesday. Hours later he was waived...

Same here and the reason why is because I truly think he learned his lesson and he would become more of a team player if he came back.

I'd like to have Moss back too. Sounds like he really misses the Pats and he'd be back with the 'program' if he could hook up with his old team again. Dunno if it's going to happen but weirder things have happened. This is so strange! Moss traded, released, and come back in one season? That would be one heckuva story!

There is no way he is coming back. Waivers do apply to Moss and since we have the best record in the NFL we are 32nd as in the bottom of the list if we do put in for him. No chance.

If Moss gets picked up by one of the Pats upcoming opponents, would he be the first player to ever play for a team and then play against that team on two different teams in the same year?

This has been discussed already. After the trade deadline, all players must clear waivers.

But seriously, this would be great. As BradyManny said, humbling him only made him better. And this would also allow Deion to get more open and thus another big weapon.

I do think we have a chance at Moss, because:
-He won't play for a crappy team
-He sent a clear message to all the NFL that he wants to go to the Patriots, and that if any team picks him off waiver, this may happen all over again.

Moss ends up in Ind.... learns the offense....gives a looney toon presser....talks about piped in noise, Manning teabagging trainers, Polian as a crazed megalamaniac....gets waived....back to the Pats with the Colts playbook.
BB plays chess while the Vikings and Colts play pick up sticks.
