As for whether Welker wants him back, I doubt it. He's a team player and he likes playing with guys who have no quit in them. I have a feeling Randy has once again overplayed what he thought was his hand...

He's got to clear waivers if anyone wants a $6M decoy.

I was wrong. According to NFL network, these rules do not apply after the trading deadline. Moss must pass through waivers now.

Further, and worse, the Vikings must still pay his entire salary for the rest of the year, meaning his new team would get him virtually for free ( vets minimum prorated for 1/2 a season ).

Damn, bummer. I sure hope he doesn't land on an AFC team.

Tough to tell. They may try it with Clark and Collie out. It would seem out of place with what they do there because Moss sort of limits wehat they do. But it would take coverage off of Wayne and Collie when he gets back.

Same here and the reason why is because I truly think he learned his lesson and he would become more of a team player if he came back.

Given Moss' comments last nite - any team pondering putting a claim in would probably do so with caution. He obviously wants back with NE.

I can see Indy, Pittsburgh and our rivals putting claims in to F with us. But teams that would want him legitimately, well, I don't know about that - they have to realize this guy isn't going to give 100% effort unless its an ideal situation.

Cowboys - no shot
Broncos - doubt it
49ers - doubt it
Bengals (with TO and OchoCinco) - no shot
Browns - damn
Lions - opposite Megatron
Vikings
Chargers (I hope not)

He aint getting past the first 10 in my opinion.
