It's easy, and only takes a few moments.this is the second thread you created where you were hating on Charger players. Not sure what you're trying to do but first you say "Rivers shouldn't be looked at as heroic" then you say "LT is made of glass". This is hating 101 and it's sore winning. We were banged up bro, you weren't. Take the win with class and move on to the Superbowl.

I just finished watching the game and I think people that are questioning LT's toughness aren't thinking this thing through. You think that because both LT and Rivers were doubtful, and because Rivers played through the pain, then LT is a whimp and doesn't have heart?
Rivers is a quarterback. The most important part of his body in order to be successful at his position is his throwing arm. Does he need his legs? Absolutely. Scrambling and moving the pocket is part of his job. But he doesn't need to be fast at his position. He can limp around, as he did yesterday and still be effective. Can he play with an injured throwing arm? Unlikely.
LT is a running back. The most important part of his body in order to be successful at his position is his throwing arm. Does he need his arms? Absolutely. To stiff arm and hold on to the ball. But he can't be effective if he doesn't have healthy legs. Speed and power are the most important things for a good RB, which are influenced by the health of the knees.
Nance said yesterday during the broadcast that LT said he was 90%. That extra 10% is what makes him the best RB in the league. Without that 10%, he's above average but still far from his normal self.
MOST TELLING SIGN: 2nd Drive of the game for the Chargers. 3 & 5 around the Patriots 40 yd line. Harrison blitzes. LT goes to pick him up. Harrison does a spin move. LT has NO LATERAL MOVEMENT to slow Harrison down. Harrison forces an errant pass.
Michael Turner is definitely an above-average RB. I believe that a healthy Turner was better than an injured LT. On the first play of the Chargers' 3rd Drive, Turner ran for 11 yds. All 11 yds were after first contact This is a microcosm of playoff football. Michael Turner was definitely the better option at RB in such a physical game.
If LT played hurt, he would be hurting his team. I think that the coaching staff for the Chargers wanted their best 11 guys on the field on offense. Why wouldn't they put an injured-LT out there if he was still their best RB option? Probably because he wasn't.
Norv addressed it in his post-game. According to him, it was a pain issue for LdT, who purportedly had no problems with it during practices. LdT, on the other hand, after claiming that he was 90% before the game, was claiming it was an MCL sprain after the game. Like it or not, there are only 2 options here. Either the Chargers are 'cheaters' who blatantly lied on the injury report, and should be fined and lose a 1st round pick, or LdT couldn't handle the pain.

"LT tried to go, and he just couldn't go," Turner said. At one point, it was reported that he had "soreness" in his knee and "could return," and a sideline report called the former MVP's being on the sideline a coach's decision. But after the game, Turner defended Tomlinson by saying: "The guy was not able to go. The doctors and trainers said he couldn't go."Either the Chargers are 'cheaters' who blatantly lied on the injury report, and should be fined and lose a 1st round pick, or LdT couldn't handle the pain.
LdT couldn't handle the pain? Does that mean anyone that is injured should be expected to play to their normal standards, regardless of any pain?
Everyone lies on injury reports. You're just holding LT to a different standard.
The ultimate question is:
WERE THE CHARGERS BETTER WITH LaDAINIAN OR MICHAEL TURNER AT RB?
Based on the production of LT in his limited time, Turner was the right choice. That doesn't mean that LT doesn't have heart. It's what was best for the team.
