A Toast to Bill Belichick

Plenty of arguments both ways about Bill being the greatest coach ever.

One argument against it was made by Bradshaw on TV. Shula still has the wins record. Not saying it's a good argument but it's an argument.
Bradshaw got that far away stare in his eyes …

This story about him going for more money is a bunch of BS too. He signed for the same exact money in Tampa as the Patriots offered him: $25m.
More lies from you. He signed for 2 years fully guaranteed. Pats did not offer that.

I think if we could get another QB players want to play for and not some failed first rounder they will be excited to get to work for Bill again.

Halas still has more regular season wins than Belichick with an outstanding .688 win%. He also has 6 championships and contributed a hell of a lot more to the league. He remains the GOAT.

So you think BB is second best then?

Cept for all those dumb games at the end of the year … I think they call them playoffs …
Thanks... The context was the draft... Whose your favorite first rounder the past ten yrs?

I think someone else said Mahomes … he’s mine as well

Vince Lombardi was also better but his career was cut short.

Yes, you're under contract with the Patriots, you just won the Super Bowl, and you're messing with the archrivals. He would've been the next Clemens.

This story about him going for more money is a bunch of BS too. He signed for the same exact money in Tampa as the Patriots offered him: $25m.

And if Brian Flores didn't think what Brady did was totally unethical, he would've signed for $25m in Miami as well.

Brady would've been rightfully booed out of Foxboro.
And now you want to boo Brady for an imaginary slight while lying about the actual circumstances that forced him out.

Did you get a chance to watch Tom in college? He wasn’t very good. I probly saw ten of his games.. and when we drafted him I remember thinking … y? He’s probly not even going to make the team ..
Somehow **** Rehben saw the same things as you and predicted that "everyone will know his name in 20 years." Naturally, Bill takes full credit for THAT pick and doesn't acknowledge Rehbein. If it turned out to be a lousy choice he'd be throwing hints that ****ie made him do it.

The problem for Bill and the Pats is that Bill had 20 years with Brady and saw up close how special he truly was but still allowed him to walk without any compensation or any backup plan at QB.

If we are gonna bring in vrabel, mayo, McDaniel and then fire Bill what’s the point?

Those are all Bill guys. Might as well keep him another 2 years

I can toast Bill now for reaching the record for most losses in a career. The fact that he did that in spite of having a GOAT QB for 20 years is an amazing feat when you think about it.
