I did see that, but, I dont have PFW and there is no link to the article (it might not even be online). I would be surprise if every person that made a statement here has actually read the article for themselves. Not that you have to read. I am certainly not the boss around here . Plenty of people can dislike Polian for other things he has said or done.
I am just hoping that someone could give access to the article some how or shed some more light on what he said
I do not believe Bill Polian said that. No link has been posted and if that is wnat it takes to fire up the Pats maybe their time has passed. Technically their time has passed until next September. Believe me Colts players, management and fans have nothing but RESPECT for the Patriots. They have ended the Colts season twice recently and scrubs don't do that. Bill Polian has no less class or social grace than BB.
Itcame today. Thanks for heads up 'cause I would have missed it.It's in the Patriots Football Weekly print edition p.20, under the headline "opposing view".
As much as I would like to see the Bears win, I think that the Colts offense will be too much for the Bears to stop.
Bill Polian after the Colts victory, as reported in PFW.
Does anyone have a link for this statement that Polian made? It seems some folks in Indy are claiming Lord Polian never made it....
I don't have a link, but he ABSOLUTELY said it. I read it in several different articles.
If he DID say that, why didn't it receive more press? I would think that, if he actually DID say something like that, we would have heard a lot more about it by now.
At any rate, if you wanna know how Polian REALLY feels about the pats, watch Inside Colt's TC on NFLN. He gives the pats MAJOR props on that show. And its right there, on tape.
What did you think he was going to say on a SHOW? Did you think he was going to say anything as derogatory, as "The Patriots time is over" on a nationally televised show?
But to answer the original question. YES, he absolutely said it. The reason it wasn't reported...was because it was overheard from some of the Patriots personal.
I listen religiously to the guys at PFW in Progress (It's a Pats publication and Internet radio show) these guys would never lie about something like this, or the report that Polian did say "break Flutie's ******* leg" during a the game a couple of years ago.
I know he is your GM....and it's hard not to defend someone that is in charge of your team....but the guy is a piece of ****.....and everyone knows it.
Hmmmm, so all these nasty remarks have been caught solely a Pats publication and Internet radio show? How's the Kool-Aid??
If you need it for bulletin board material, then so be it. The leg-breaking material obviously did not help, as I suspect the so called "time is over" remark won't either.
What team do you root for, He Ban Me?
