Polian is an idiot and I really hope the Dolts will choke (again) and I'm definitely will be rooting for them not to win the big one. As someone has said, if the Bears defense shows up like most of the year and Rex can handle himself, then Chicago has a very good shot stunning Indy.

I would be surprise if every person that made a statement here has actually read the article for themselves. Not that you have to read. I am certainly not the boss around here . Plenty of people can dislike Polian for other things he has said or done.

I do not believe Bill Polian said that. No link has been posted and if that is wnat it takes to fire up the Pats maybe their time has passed. Technically their time has passed until next September. Believe me Colts players, management and fans have nothing but RESPECT for the Patriots. They have ended the Colts season twice recently and scrubs don't do that. Bill Polian has no less class or social grace than BB.

It wrong when a player says something like this in public, but when a team executive says it in public it is disgraceful. I know many executives say things like this behind closed doors, but an executive is supposed to carry him or herself with a little more professionalism.

Polian is like a little kid. He acts like some of the worst fans in the pressroom and has been heard yelling to have his players break opposing players' legs. He has gotten physical with Jets officials supposably slamming one junior executive into a wall. He cries to the rules committee when things don't go his way and then lies about even making a fuss eventhough there is plenty of direct quotes from him saying the contrary.

He is the biggest reason I hate the Colts. I hope he never has a Super Bowl win to his credit. I would say that I hope he never gets into the Hall, but he will at best have to wait long until after he is dead because I don't even think the Indy press representative on the Hall of Fame committee likes him enough to vote him in.

What's amazing is BB gets knocked for not shaking Peyton's hand for long enough and yet Polian has received almost zero bad press from the national media and he's done this stuff time and time again.

This isn't about the Colt fans and players. It's just about Polian. As far as not believing he said this and asking for a source, it's the print edition of Patriots Football Weekly. If you go to Patriots.com and buy a subscription you can access the material, although I doubt this week's edition will be up until next week, and I can't promise the article "Opposing View" will be posted there. It's subscriber only, so you can't post a link. You can still love your team and acknowledge that Polian is an a-hole. He has shown a pattern of making outrageously inflammatory comments, such as exhorting the team to "Break Flutie's leg" from the press box et. al. I know you want to doubt this, but unless the reporter is lying, which i see no reason for, I take this at face value, doubly so because Polian is the source. As far as the excuse, "technically their time has passed until next September", I think we both know that's not what he meant. He meant that one "football" era had passed, and another was beginning.

As much as I would like to see the Bears win, I think that the Colts offense will be too much for the Bears to stop.

The best defense wins the Superbowl. If the Colts play D like they did during the other playoff games, that might be enough.

I don't have a link, but he ABSOLUTELY said it. I read it in several different articles.

Like Rodney Harrison, if he's on your side you love him, if not, you hate him.

Both will likely end up in Canton, IMO.
