For example, would he stay on a year or two after Brady leaves/ retires to help groom the new QB? Factors such as family, health, drive will likely play a role. I'm assuming Kraft would never ever consider firing him, thus why I worded question this way.
He also said that in 2009. How many of us stick to plans we made 7 years ago?He says he's not coaching into his 70's and he's 64. Do the math.
Although, I think he'll stick around the Pats in some capacity. You can't keep him far from the game.
Maybe he'll be the new Ernie Adams to Josh McDaniel's BB...I'm not sure there's any way to tell for sure with Bill. I believe his comment about not coaching into his 70s was made more than a coup!e of years ago. When you're in your 50's, 70 seems decades away. At 64, not so far away. I think he still loves it and as long as that's true, I think he'll be doing it even if it takes him past the magic 70 mark. As for sticking around in another capacity, I'm not sure. It'll be hard enough for the person who succeeds him, let alone having Bill around looking over your shoulder.

Right, maybe he will, maybe he won't but it's silly for people to continue to bring that up. If he's healthy, enjoying it and closing in on Shula he probably keeps going. If he's getting worn down he'll walk.He also said that in 2009. How many of us stick to plans we made 7 years ago?
3. Michael Felger, Tony Massarotti, and Gary Tanguay. How many of us are a genius on the level of BB?

He didn't actually definitively say that. He made an off the cuff comment, quite a few years ago that you shouldn't expect to see him coaching in his 70s like Marv Levy.He says he's not coaching into his 70's and he's 64. Do the math.

Fate indicates a lack of control. Outside of health and NFL League Office shenanigans, BB is the master of his domain...and destiny.
