Genuine question - in light of the Florida problems should we think differently about THE Ohio State players coming into the league going forward?
Sorry for the double response, but the more I thought about your question, the more I think there are lots of variables aside from "just" Urban Meyer.
Florida is a good time atmosphere. The weather is warm. The girls are pretty. Everyone is in fairly good spirits, etc. I'm pretty sure it has a bit of a reputation, no offense to any alums or fans out there. Hell, just about everyone I've ever met from the south has a bit of a laid back attitude. When I lived in FL there was a saying, "you're on FL time, now." Nothing got done on time. The locals would talk of how everything was rush, rush, rush up north.
Which brings me to my point: Is it an Urban Meyer thing, or a University of Florida thing? Did Urban have issues with players while he was out west in Utah? Not that I remember. How about when he was the head coach at Bowling Green? Not that I can remember. Until we start to see some of the current Buckeye class getting into trouble and making poor choices, I'm going to assume that it's more FL than it is Urban Meyer, although he will take more chances with talented recruits than the average coach, it seems.
EDIT: I see @VectorPrime shares my skepticism, as well.
