Now you gotta hate the kid, too

Jonathan Kraft explains why Patriots didn’t sue NFL over Deflategate

“You can go to court, but when you sign up to be a part of this league you agree essentially not to sue the league,” Jonathan said. “But even if you did go to court, you go to court you win money damages. It’ll take longer than the time before the draft happens and the money isn’t the issue here, the issue is getting your draft pick back and at some point you have to realize it’s not gonna happen and the best revenge will be putting the best team on the field next year and hopefully having a very successful season.”

common sense.....nothing more

all the shoulda coulda woulda needs to be parked in a dumpster and people should really move on because your *****ing is pointless and will achieve nothing

I think we all knew that, we just wanted a MUCH stronger public statement. That would start for me with Robert calling for Goodell to lose his job (even if it wouldn't happen) and resigning from the Commissioner Compensation Committee unless the salary drops about 75% from the absurd $30+M he made last year.

Yeah, if money damages are the only thing you ask for. Weak sauce, Jonathan.

What, you don't remember that giant check that Judge Berman awarded to Brady after the ruling?

and what purpose would this serve.......are you into this for the football or the soap opera???

more nonsense.......there's only one way for Goodell to lose his job and it has nothing to do with Kraft throwing a hissy fit

and his resignation from anything and basically taking his marbles and going home won't scare anyone......they figured this **** out before Kraft was an owner and they'll figure it out afterwards

the notion that Kraft should spite himself to gain the satisfaction of fans is silly

A page out of the NFL's book - misleading the fans. Specific performance, potential proprietary interest in the picks, list goes on.

you don't have to like it, but he is factually correct

Is it factually correct to say that Tom Brady won monetary damages rather than a a court order overturning his suspension?

you going to quit watching?
I pretty much have, truly. To me my interest is in the soap opera elements and not the game now. My only remaining interest is seeing BB and Brady win, and only because it pisses off the rest of this corrupt league. And even that hasn't been enough to keep me watching just the Pats for even half the games they played last year.

Doing what's right. A lot of things in life that are right don't have a tangible result.

oh....you mean doing what you want qualifies as 'what's right'?

what's right for who? the yahoos of the world? who gives a crap......grow a backbone and stop watching the game if it matters so much.....but you won't because it doesn't which makes all this noise pointless

so are you not entertained?

I'm engaged, but the end result is the NFL and the Patriots are losing a customer for their goods.

Ex., it was made clear to everyone last Christmas that I didn't want any Patriots or NFL gear this year.
