Brady and Goodell had opportunity to greet each other with at least a head nod in court and did not. Goodell seemed to try, not Brady.

Damn....you know Brady is mad when he gives you the cold shoulder like that
Perhaps Goodell should have tried a high five. Be nice to see Brady leave someone hanging for once :D.

"Judge Berman made it clear today that he won't be taking this case because judges do not want to get involved in arbitration under collective bargaining. But he did make it clear that if he was to hear this case that he feels that the NFL has laid out a solid case that proves Brady orchestrated a scheme to deflate balls in the AFC Championship Game. If I was Kessler, the NFLPA, and Brady; I would settle for that four game suspension because this judge could increase the suspension to eight games."

Important perspective (re ideal gas law and deflation):

Kessler prefaced answering questions with "We do not believe there is real evidence such deflation occurred," as determined in Wells Report

Man, I wish Brown had noted that in his twitter feed. Everything that follows makes a lot more sense now.

Wonder how he feels when he gets the cold shoulder?

Wait is this for real? Or what you are expecting him to say. Because it is something I could see him saying.

It can still go both ways if they don't settle. If the judge is somehow convinced that deflation occurred, he may just punt it and say, that's the NFL's CBA discretion.

In fact, the only thing that might be holding Berman back from giving the NFL carte blanche is the extreme harshness of the punishment. He may feel that's where he has to step in.

If it was a smaller punishment, he might have just kicked them out of the court room.

The fact that Berman brought up the fact that the NFL has no actual evidence of wrongdoing by Brady shows that you are incorrect..

Thank you, this is what I was waiting for to confirm how I felt about today.

is this guy an idiot?

Anyone else slightly alarmed at how on-point Volin's twitter is today? Did he just wake up from a years-long semi-coma yesterday or something?

I was literally amazed that he actually appears to have understood that Kessler was arguing in the alternative when Kessler said that if something happened, Brady had no knowledge of it.

Definitely satire.

If there is indeed a Football God, Brady will get a 5th Super Bowl ring and it will be the most awkward trophy presentation moment ever. It would be an absolute dream come true to see the truly chickenshit Commissioner Scheisskopf skulk off the podium after Brady and Belichick tell him to get f*****g lost.

Got into the media area. General take is that our side did very well. Brady was stone faced throughout and never cracked a smile even when Berman cracked a joke about him. They're in his Chambers and no one knows when they will come out
