I simply can't work, just like last year. I'm gonna take a coffee and come back after 4 Pm to go direct to the breaking news.

Oh Boy...now the fanboys are gonna label you a troll.....truth be dammed. Don't mention the 9 years without a SB trophy despite the GOAT....that really sends them into the shakes. Almost winning has a nice sound

Nah, a troll would be someone who scribes 3,600+ posts with nary a one of them offering anything of substance or significance.

is that a picture of welker after he dropped the game winning catch or Talib after Welker took him out of the game?

...and it didn't take long for someone to demonstrate the incredible pettiness of the NE fans. Congrats to you. You are why the whole country hates Patriots fans.

Come on. You didn't even raise a little smile?

I was being sarcastic, and I can't believe I forgot to mention all those other stiffs you listed. Although I have to say I have no idea who that Chris Johnson is. Do you mean Chad Jackson? He has to be on the list.

d%#*!@t I suck at detecting sarcasm. :) Yeah Chad Jackson I meant to type.

You are why the whole country hates Patriots fans.
I think they hate Patriots fans because of this, mostly:

BB is not great picking wide outs. Correct me if I am wrong but the only good receivers he has ever drafted was Branch and Givens. The best best FA he signed was Moss and Welker, who was not Welker at the time.

Don't forget to add Reche Caldwell, Chris Johnson, Douge Gabriel, bethel johnson, Taylor Price, Jeremy Ebert, Brandon Tate, Matthew Slater , P.K. Sam, Brandon Lloyd, Kamar Aiken, Torry Holt to the list of BB flops.

And what is scary is that Collie Brady's most reliable receiver for a couple of games last season.

Slater is a WR only because the NFL refuses to create a "ST" position.

Perhaps we should wait and see how things play out. If Edelman walks and is not adequately replaced, then I'll agree with you. I do think, however, that BB can and does learn from his mistakes, and I'd be shocked if it happens again.

Should have learned from the Deion Branch mistake.

Them not getting bang for their buck is putting it lightly. They're like Al Davis-esque in the GM department. Lowballing Mankins and then having to sign him to that bloated contract. Letting James Sanders go and going with Patrick Dung (who gave up the Manningham catch) and Sergio Brown. Signing stiffs like Adalius Thomas, Shawn Springs, Ochocinco, Albert Haynesworth. Overpaying for Kyle "burnt toast" Arrington. Handing out massive contracts to a scumbag criminal and a dope who can't stay on the field (despite the fact that he missed half the season, he STILL couldn't make it to the playoffs).

They have the best coach who puts his players in position to win, and the best QB who doesn't make many mistakes. If they were even a little better at managing the roster, they win the 2011 SB at least (that one will sit with me forever, everything went right for them, the pathetic regular season schedule, the joke playoff opponents, and they still didn't get it done).

Emmanuel Sanders would be an adequate replacement for Edelman. Although if the money is the same or very close then I would MUCH rather have Edelman.

Amendola, Dobson, Thompkins, and Boyce is not nearly good enough right now. That is honestly a scary bad group of receivers and I pray that is not what we are leaving Brady to work with.

(despite the fact that he missed half the season, he STILL couldn't make it to the playoffs).

Yes, because the hit he took was entirely his fault.

Balt should look into Edelman...as many have said..he would fit there nicely

Not sure if people have missed this in their hysteria, but there have been reports out of multiple outlets stating that the Pats and Edelman will continue to negotiate. There's also reports out of multiple outlets of potential interest from the Ravens. Now that isn't good.

Either way, Edelman can be replaced. He's not in Welker's league as a receiver and there are other viable options out there. Now, whether or not the team targets them is another story...

Hawkins is a player I've mentioned. If he's over that high ankle sprain, he's got the 'quick' more than Edelman and Amendola.

Do not get me wrong I would not mind having Hawkins added to this roster but not as the replacement for our most productive WR last season. All I can say is if Edelman walks Amendola damn sure better show up in 2014, because that would be two receivers who have proven capable of 100+ receptions and 1000+ yards gone over what appears to be money and Amendola is here making $5.7 APY.

Nah, a troll would be someone who scribes 3,600+ posts with nary a one of them offering anything of substance or significance.

and someone who scribes 14,000+ without a shred of substance or significance?

The Baltimore Sun reports the Ravens are interested in free agent Julian Edelman, but that "nothing has heated up yet."

Substance=Pats are the greatest...gotcha

Second time. How much would you pay to keep Edelman?

Hollllllllyyyyyyy F

Ya'll are a bunch of whiny little babies.

"Boo hoo BB didnt offer Edlemen 9 million a year!!!" WAHHHHHH MISTAKESSSSS BLAH BLAH BLAH

jesus.

they offered him more then i thought they would and im kind of shocked that he turned it down, 3 years at upto 7 mil a year? that puts him just south of 30 at teh end of the contract if he keeps playing the way he played last year hed be in line for another 3-4 year deal at similar money.

now hes going to end up in Oakland with Vick throwing at his feet.

#1 You open with this:
Robert Kraft: "We wanted Julian back but, when he didn't sign before Tuesday, we had to move on to plan B."

Jonathan Kraft: "It was his agent's fault."

Edelman's agent: "The deal was not fair value, and we didn't appreciate the deadline issued."

Tom Brady: "%#$@&"

Patsfans.com: "Edelman is an evil traitor!"

Wes Welker:

"Welcome to the club, Minitron."

#2 Resdubwhite responds to the above with:
is that a picture of welker after he dropped the game winning catch or Talib after Welker took him out of the game?

#3 And despite your having intentionally BAITED for it, you pretend that HE'S the reason why the whole country hates Patriot fans?

How is what you did here NOT being an out and out TROLL?!
