Comcast updated their page. Said Stallworth is not returning to the Eagles. Signed a deal with the Pats.

Actually, they haven't updated in at least 40 minutes. They ended their report saying "more to come" and nothing else has come. Tomase's report is a lot more recent.

Here's the situation...

About an hour ago NFL.com changed their headline to Schefter's page on NFL.com to "Stallworth agrees to a deal with Patriots."

Once you clicked on that link it said this, "Free agent wide receiver Donte Stallworth received an offer from the New England Patriots. He is scheduled to meet Wednesday with Titans officials in Tennessee and with the Dolphins on Thursday."

Obviously there was a communication problem somewhere.

Since then, Albert Breer of the Herald has said that there's no deal and Stallworth is leaving for Tennessee.

However a Philadelphia-based site is claiming Stallworth has agreed to a 6 year, $32 million deal with us. They are the only ones reporting this. Everyone else, including Schefter, is saying that there's no deal and Stallworth is going to Tennessee and eventually Miami before deciding where he wants to play.

Yes, I believe you're correct. The new report is a little longer. I also don't recall the first one having the first line about Stallworth not coming back to the Eagles.

Unfortunately, I'm getting the sense that, even if it's been updated, the new comcast report is no more accurate than the first. Too many sources are reporting that Stallworth will be doing his other visits. If comcast is right and they are wrong, comcast has gotten some huge scoop.
