New full back in the house :p...and a new tight end :)

Ahh, the gentle background music of the Michael Bishop - Drew Bledsoe debates.

I'm very confused about this. The guy is not a good quarterback by any stretch of the imagination and he invites a media circus that the team typically frowns upon. Very confusing move.

There are no Calliopes at Gillette, and Tebow's won more playoff games as a Bronco than has Manning. Plus, Jets fans will be going nuts. I don't see any downside.

The Pats were the only team that ever made sense. They're the only team that can completely shut down the media storm that follows him. There's basically no way this can hurt the Pats, and plenty of ways it can help.

Tebow prob would've beaten Baltimore last yr in playoffs!

well...we do need a 3rd quarterback/tackling dummy :p

I think Belichick is looking for someone
Who he can depend on to get a 3rd & 1
Or 4th & one on the ground. I like Ridley
But he is not a bull in short yardage situations.

I don't know if a backfield of Tebow & Blount
Behind Brady is scary or funny.

I'll leave it at this.

If Brady went down for the year, I'd rather Tebow controlling the clock and not turning the ball over than Mallett 20 yard overthrows.

Also, the Steelers game makes me think there is some talent with Tebow. He was hooking up on long throws all day.

Whatever, let's see how this goes. :D

The situation doesn't seem that complicated. If he's good enough to make the team in whatever role BB sees him in, then great. If not, no loss.

And if you don't think that BB can control the circus, you haven't been around for the last 13 years.

Anything to keep the media from continuing it's 24/7 Gronk coverage ....

He's a cancer, a waste of a roster spot, will bring a media circus and is a pointless cap hit.

He's none of those, but thanks for the response.

All I have to say on this subject is ......

Saying he is a cancer is a little strong. Still, not sure what BB has in mind for him.

If he's willing to be a fullback or a dedicated STer or something, then fine I guess. Let him compete for a spot on the end of the roster. I'd be very surprised if he makes it to the final roster, though. If he insists on remaining a quarterback, then I doubt he'll even survive the first roster cutdown.

I do not like this move, but I'm not going to bother having a real problem with it until/unless he either makes the final roster as a QB or burns some guaranteed money before getting cut.

here go the mallett trade talks again

Only if he makes the team. I'd be surprised if his contract includes any guaranteed money.

I don't like this move either way, but I assume that the contract is structured so that there's no real downside. If that's the case, then I guess I don't hate it.
