Congrats on the win. I was still proud of the way the Jets played.

Ray Ray is such a ******. Cut and pasted this thread verbatim (means word for word Ray-Tard) on JI, and even his own peoples are calling him out for being a ridiculous homer!

Keep trying, the Jets were this............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................ close!

Pathetic

I commented on the one call and some others I thought the Pats got the benefit of

I also gave the Pats credit with their in game adjustments on offense against a Jets D, with personnel packages that were looking to stop the pass

Not sure why you wouldn't think the congrats was real, just doing my part to show up after the game.

If you need to move it off the main board, not exactly sure what you're trying to achieve, but it's pretty shallow.

You're the genius who kept saying BJGE was "nothing special".

27 for 136 yds, 2 TD's and no fumbles for FOUR YEARS now.

Congratulations - your team got run over by "nothing special".

You can now wipe the gunk of your chin. And don't scrape your head on your "low ceiling".

aww..c'mon Shmessy....Jetfan..er...Ray Ray is right...Brady is in the "twilight" of his career and Sansorry's ceiling has no limit...although you'd think that with all that money for signing an NFL contract that Sanblueskies could afford a house with a real ceiling instead of sleeping out in the park...but then, when it comes to these green weirdos I guess anything is possible

Jets didn't lose cuz of the calls, they lost because they got beat.

Beat, and beat physically. Not bad for a "finesse" football team.

Revis is amazing. He instincts reminded me of Ty Law's. Almost shutting down Welker is no easy task.

Fixed it for you.

Agreed. Never understood why he gets away with so much blatant pass interference. Must be the same reason why Michael Jordan could pretty much get away with pulling out a gun and shooting the defense in his prime.

Brady targeted Welker 3 times with Revis on him. Welker caught 2 of them, for a big yardage gain and a big 3rd down completion. The numbers on the other receivers when Revis was on Welker are tremendous. The Jets lost the matchup battle by putting Revis on Welker.

As is the constant backhanded compliments about the Jets being lucky getting in the playoffs the last couple of years, the same crying was done about Revis today.
It is a fact the Jets were lucky to get in the playoffs in 09, they would not have if the Colts didn't lay down. I haven't heard anyone say they were lucky to get in last year, so you are making that up.
I KNOW that no one here has ever seen their team get its butt whooped and said they were proud of it for trying and blamed the refs.

Really, you want to go there?

Sorry, I commented on how I saw it, it wasn't like I didn't give the Pats any credit.
As with all your comments you didnt see it very clearly.

I guess Pats fans really do need to have smoke blown up their ass all day and anybody that dares to question, or not throw rose petals at them is questioned, moved off the main forum, or banned for no reason at all...
I guess someone who came here all week with a homeristic view on every point discussed would have the balls to actually come here and admit they were wrong and their team was beaten down.

I said congrats, Pats got round 1, Jets certainly didn't do enough to win today, but they showed signs of being the team they can and should be when people were questioning them all week.
What signs? 450 yards of offense and 30 points allowed?
Less than 4 ypc?
A QB who blows?
What can you take out of today that was good for the Jets? Kick returns?

Yeah, imagine how much more amazing he would be if he actually did that.

......and he has to deal with Justin Beiber and Selena Gomez.....a..a...woman,for god's sake...not fair,marky....it's just not fair:eek:

All the pre-game noise about descension in locker room, their offensive struggles, etc etc...

The way I see it...

Jets said they were going to run the ball, and they did, and that was critical in trying to control TOP and keep Brady and the offense off the field.

The numbers might not dictate it, but Jets played pretty well on D, and keeping Patriots in check, and keeping the game within reach for most of the game.

It was a game at half time, and everybody here knows it. The opening second-half drive was a killer for the Jets, a mistake by Smith in zone protection, and a hell of an effort by Revis to make a play to try and save the drive.

That pass to Branch, that was a BS call, I know you'll agree, Branch was switching hands, when contact was made, Branch didn't even have possession of the ball, that call should have never been overturned.

The officiating once again bounced the way of the Pats, it's tiring to see the officials bail the Patriots out, and they did on several drives, while killing the Jets on a couple of their own drives.

Pats made some critical in game adjustments against Jets defensive packages that were designed to play the pass, additional DB's on the field, and less up front on the LOS, Pats made the adjustment and ran the ball. As I said earlier, the Pats set up the run off of their passing game, the Jets had to respect the passing game, credit to the Pats for running it and executing. Some would say they gashed the Jets run D, no, not true, because Jets didn't have their run D in many of those situations, they had their pass defensive packages on the field.

The Jets came to play, their running game showed up, and the offense showed some signs after a poor week last week. Mangold returning was huge, and immediately played dividends in the running game, and in pass protection.

The defense needed to make a play on that final drive, and they fell short, credit to the Pats.

It was a battle, round 1 goes to the Pats.

It's a long season, it's about who is playing the best at the end of the season.

Do you actually believe your own BS!!!

What difference does it possibly make if Branch is switching hands or not???!!!
He has possession, his knee is down, and a Jets player touched him. -->DOWN BY CONTACT!!!!!!!

So what's your argument, that switching hands means you are no longer considerred down by contact?!

If we are gonna invent rules, could you at least notify the rest of us!!!

HAHAHAHAH....hang on....HAHAHAHA

Jets said they were going to run the ball, and they did, and that was critical in trying to control TOP and keep Brady and the offense off the field.

They gained less than 100 yards rushing -- not much of a factor.

The numbers might not dictate it, but Jets played pretty well on D, and keeping Patriots in check, and keeping the game within reach for most of the game.

And they folded when it mattered most, succumbing to the Patriots' own clock-killing "ground and pound" in the fourth quarter.

The opening second-half drive was a killer for the Jets, a mistake by Smith in zone protection, and a hell of an effort by Revis to make a play to try and save the drive.

Revis was embarrassed by Welker, who smoked him on the catch and YAC.

That pass to Branch, that was a BS call, I know you'll agree, Branch was switching hands, when contact was made, Branch didn't even have possession of the ball, that call should have never been overturned.

This is idiotic -- learn the rules, you can't have it both ways. If he had possession (which you suggest) he'd be down the second he was touched. If he didn't have possession (which you also suggest), it was an incomplete pass.

The officiating once again bounced the way of the Pats, it's tiring to see the officials bail the Patriots out, and they did on several drives, while killing the Jets on a couple of their own drives.

Yes, it's terrible when the refs jump in there and make New Jersey receivers drop passes, put the wrong defenders on Pats receivers, force Wrecks to have too many men on the field, etc., etc. That kind of stuff ruins drives and helps New England score points. Damn referees!

Some would say they gashed the Jets run D, no, not true, because Jets didn't have their run D in many of those situations, they had their pass defensive packages on the field.

Pretty bad strategy when they KNOW the Patriots are going to run to kill the clock, wouldn't you say? Sheesh!

The Jets came to play, their running game showed up, and the offense showed some signs after a poor week last week. Mangold returning was huge, and immediately played dividends in the running game, and in pass protection.

Yup, they amassed 250 yards total offense against the worst-rated defense in the NFL. An offensive juggernaut reborn!

The defense needed to make a play on that final drive, and they fell short, credit to the Pats.

But ... but wasn't that because the Green Beans were playing pass defense when they should've played the run? Or was it those pesky referees again? You're confusing me!

It's about who is playing the best at the end of the season.

Not necessarily, especially if you're out of it early -- 2-3 isn't exactly a good omen!

Fair assessment....I thought the jets played very well....but.I also think that this is about their limit.
You guys just don't have the defense anymore,to make up for that OL and Sanchise($14m for that?).
Your depth issues will eventually be your downfall.
Plax(were those big drops or what?) and Mason(team cancer)......Who in your front office thought that was gonna work?

Btw.....just a word of advice...all you JI and ganggreen poseurs are going to drive youselves insane with this, week after week, rant on the officials.....time to man-up.

.....see you at the new Giants stadium in November:rocker:

Congrats on the win. I was still proud of the way the Jets played.

.....are you comparing the Jets* to the French army?......shame on you,joker......even I don't hate the french that much!

If it was not for a Romo fail the Jets would be 1-4. The team is just not very good right now.

You're right when you say I agree Branch was switching hands. But switching hands is not losing control of the football. It's not considered a fumble everytime some runner switches hands. Branch clearly had control of the ball when he was on a knee when he got hit. The play ends the moment he gets hit with his knee on the ground, not .5 seconds afterwards.

They actually have quite a bit in common. The French Army sucks. It also is quite obnoxious. :singing:
