Bodden and Dowling Out

Lmao It so silly Im not even waste my time explaining this one as your obviously joking.

Now the real problem becomes if you were being serious about this.

why would i be joking about facts? Go look at last week's stats. McFadden had the following:

1 run for 70 yards
1 run for 20 yards
1 run for 15 yards
1 run for 15 yards

That's a 120 yards off 4 carries. The rest of his 15 carries were for 50 yards total.

The he had a good day against the broncos, one of the worst teams in the league. However, he only ran for 72 yards against the Bills with the same number of attempts. THe patriots had 108 net yards rushing against these same bills.

Well, Bodden is clearly not the same dude he was and Dowling comes as advertised. He'll never stay on the field.

66% completion percentage is not accurate. and he only thrown one interception on a hail mary pass. Expect raiders to go four wide wr sets and One running back in backfield (Mcfadden)

Chaz Schillens 6'4 225 and DHB 6'2 210 / Derek Hagan 6'2 215 on the outside with Denarius moore and Jacoby Ford inside and darren Mcfadden as single back. or Chaz schilens and D Moore outside with DHB/ Hagan and Jacoby ford inside. with Mcfadden as lone rb.

You blitz Jason Campbell sees which CB matching up with his wr that he has the most favorable matchup easily gets the ball to that wr . D Mcfadden is one of the best blitz pickup Rbs in the game.

*sigh* Campbell has a 61% CAREER Pass Completion %. That is not overly accurate.

And since you can't read, Deus said that Campbell DOESN'T throw a lot of interceptions.

The Pats don't have to BLITZ to get pressure on Campbell. McFadden is AVERAGE at picking up the blitz. He's certainly not considered one of the best in the game at it. In fact, he can't hold Kevin Faulk's jock when it comes to blitz pick-up.

Can you do it consistantly with two weapons just. That where i have a hard time believing your going to win a shotout with Two freaking weapons. That like going to a gun fight and bringing a knife.

Two weapons? You need to do a little more research on the Patriots before you can be taken seriously.

NO the Patriots defense will determine that. You stop raiders running game than Jason Campbell and the Wr will beat you through the air. You don't it will be Mcfaden and the running game. So its all up to you which way you want to get beat.

The Pats defense should be effective in shutting down McFadden and forcing Campbell to try and beat the Pats. BTW, since you seem to have missed it, Campbell failed to beat the Bills in the air..

Obviously I was talking patriots. You lost to those same Bills team , so whats your point. Were both 2-1. (after we destroyed the top defense in your division. If that defense couldn't stop us, you really think the 31 pass defense going to stop us either.

The Jets weren't the "top defense in the AFC East." You seriously have a hard time dealing with facts.

Not even the best Qb tom Brady can beat a team with only two offensive weapons, when his defense can't stop anyone offense. What ever happens there will be no disrespect to Tom Brady as you can only do so much.

Since when do the Pats have only 2 offensive weapons??

Welker, Gronkowski, Branch, Edelman, Price, Slater, BJ Green-Ellis, Woodhead, Ridley.

That's 9 weapons. They'd have a 10th if Hernandez wasn't injured. And I really wish he wasn't because then the Raiders would have NO CHANCE because Brady would rip them to shreds with their 2 TE sets.

You an absolute fool and seriously need to just go away.

You an absolute fool and seriously need to just go away.

The fact he gets out-smarted on JI shows how foolish he actually is :p

Wow. Really? Do we at least have Chung back? I'd be lying if this didn't worry me. Guess Arrington and McCourty need to step up their game. I'm not even sure who else is left to play CB. That would put Molden at nickel?

I broke down how I see the coverage breaking down in one of my post. raiders are playing 4 defensivelineman 1 True LN MLB rolando McClain and 6 DBs. One of those Dbs will play LB and thats Mike Mitchell . I think On had routt on Branch (man to man) Chekwa on Chad Johnson with posible help from Tyvon Branch. i have Huff on Gronkowski DVD with help from Mike Mitchell on Wes Welker

Again lets see IF any of your Wr can do any double moves as they might not have any time.

The point isn't raiders are going to shutdown your offense. It just stopping your offense more times than you stop our offense.

Mitchell isn't playing and it's looking like Huff and Shaugnessy won't be playing either..

So, what's the "breakdown" look like now?

They also have Adams, the kid they signed who played for the 49ers

I am worried about the secondary as well.. But I think that we'll see more pressure from our front 7 than we have in the past.

On the plus side, that's one more game where they will avoid serious injury. Rather have them miss games now than at the end of the year.

I think raiders are in alot better shape with Mike Mitchell back and The way young players players played last week(Chekwa and Joey porter) Hopefully raiders won't put Huff on the wr but they put him on the TE. The bills te wasn't as big a weapon as your te.

You're a joke. Mitchell was ruled out Saturday before you posted this drivel...

Now you add those Cbs that played well with DVD 6'1 180.(again his coverage has been tight for the most part buthhe has troubling locating the football. That why Im putting him on Welker with help from s Tyvon Branch. Not only is he faster and bigger than Welker but he has good movement skills . Branch can help with the double team.

I find it amazing that you over-hype "DVD" when the guy hasn't done squat on the field... I hope that the Raiders DO put DVD on Welker. Just because he's FASTER doesn't mean anything. Welker is QUICKER.

Again the Jets wr didn't hurt the Raiders, it was the te and RB(Huff and Mitchell back might clear up most of the raiders trouble there.

Raiders don't have to totally shutdown your offense. They just have to prevent Tds or stop them more times on defense than you stop our offense.

Mitchell has been ruled out and it's looking like Huff is going to be right there with him since Huff didn't practice on Friday...

Most of the injuries happened on the turf at Gillette. It is now as bad as the old turf but it still is nasty. Some of those injuries (Ras-I?) seemed like non-contact--a sure sign of turf problems.

Fred - Please. You got torn apart for this theory the last time you brought it up. Dowling's injury was not a "NON CONTACT" as you put it. Seriously.. You make Raiders9175 look intelligent.

Between these gentlemen, they played 5 games last year so really I don't think anyone was expecting them to play 32 this year.

It's ironic that most people thought those 3 (Butler, Wheatley or Wilhite) were going to be the future of the DB core and actually what happened is that the UDFA Arrington has been basically starting for over a year now and the big 3 are gone.

In the old days, Chung could play on the slot and BB could get him along with his other 2 former safeties on the field. This was always a good way to compensate for not having depth at CB while having a third really great safety that you wanted to keep on the field.

Dowling has ben hurt since High School, does this really suprise anyone?????

The guy played 2 games last year, he is literally "made of glass" and the Pats wasted the 33 pick in the draft on him.........

Dowling played in 5 games last year.. Not 2.. Not a lot, but you seem to ignore that he played in all the games in 2009 and all but one in 2007 and 2008.

He played in 40 of a potential 50 games over 4 years in college. Certainly better than Bob "I'm Glass" Sanders who only managed 50% of his games in the NFL..

Attention FreeTedWilliams:

Dowling would have been a first rounder if he had played all of last season. So the Patriots actually employed a strategy that some others picked up on with a TE with the Pac 10 one year ago......... It has worked out before.

Attention jbb9s:

Dowling would have been a first rounder if he had played all of last season. So the Patriots actually employed a strategy that some others picked up on with a WR with the ACC two years ago......... It has failed before.

Works both ways...

Sometimes you get a steal. Sometimes you don't.

Show me where Mike Mitchell was ruled out saturday for the games. Only players ruled out is CHris Johnson , Louis Murphy and Probably Marcel Reece.

Here is the tweet from VittorioTafur Vittorio Tafur
@ @Steve_Key no, Raiders not saying which hurt players are out until 12:30 Sunday
(so obviously they didn't rule out Mike Mitchell yet)

M Huff who Raiders players were supprised he was listed as non partisipating in Thursday practice. (what does that tell you that players said he was out there. Again we will see if M Huff out there when raiders announce today at 12:30 wose out(not saturday) Don't be supprised he is.

Again you watch DVD even when he struggled in the preseason his coverage has been tight on the WR(Larry Fitzgerald) he was all over him but he has had trouble locating the football when he turn around. Hes on Welker he will be over him 6'1 and will have safety help. DeMarcus Van Dyke 2011 NFL Combine - YouTube

Ah yes, Larry Fitzgerald that well known short, quick slot receiver....comparing coverage on Fitzgerald to covering Welker is nonsense, an example of the differences is Cromartie could cover Moss but he can't cover Welker.

Why? Welker is too quick & shifty for taller CB's to cover.
