Witnesses told cops McKelvey got into a fight with the Marine, who was sitting at the end of his row in section 324 and refused to let him out to go to the restroom at halftime.

McKelvey pulled a stun gun from his pocket and fired, hitting the unidentified Marine in the neck and sending him tumbling down six rows, witnesses told cops.

There is more to the story than that. A few Jets fans, including this marine, gave this 59 year old man a beating because he is a Jehovah's Witness who wouldn't stand for the National Anthem.

I saw one fight between two Dolphins fans (as they were leaving with 10 mins left lol) and it was just one guy putting the other in a headlock. Other than that I didn't see anything.

But the marine apparently told him that he'd better not try to leave the row and then didn't let him, so saying the Cowboy fan 'initiated' the fight is a tad disingenuous.

Still, Jehovah's won't stand for the Anthem but tasers are okay? Interesting. I might taze the next one who shows up on my doorstep.

If you watch the video, you can see the cowboy fan is on his back during the incident. People don't generally attack others at random. It always take 2 to tango. While this Cowboys fan should not have brought this weapon into the stadium nor discharged it, these jets fans were far from innocent. The man clearly felt threatened and from his positioning in the video, I can see why.

reports had it that the marine had for this old guy ever since the national anthem......I've seen 'tough guy' jet fan antics before......this sounds about right.....
