This is play I'm talking about

NFL Videos: Patriots defense, sack, 8-yd loss

But anyways, Patriots will be ok, I just hope it won't come down to the wire like Green Bay :)

That's a really weird alignment. Dane's definitely where an OLB might be, but there's really only 1 DL out there to go with 5 LBs. Cunningham and Tully have a hand on the ground on either side of Big Vince. Then Guyton, Mayo and Fletcher who are all ILBs out there, and all front-6 guys rushed the passer.

McCourty and Arrington are at corner, with Chung coming into the picture and I assume Meriweather deep. So I'd have to guess there's a third safety somewhere deep like Meriweather while Chung is playing that safety/LB hybrid. In that case, then both Guyton and Dane are OLBs.

Which is all a really long way of saying it's not really a normal set-up. Then again, who knows what BB will devise now without Cunningham?

Not only are there six officially out... but three are still questionable (50% chance of playing) and four are probable (75% chance of playing). Looks like we won't have any healthy scratches this week.

Let the Taylor Price watch begin!

I can't think of a better time to try it.

Anyone still think we shouldn't rest as many starters as is physically possible for the last game if we somehow manage to lockup the 1 seed tommorow?

Wright must have gotten seriously hurt in the Colt game. This will be the 5th freaking week in a row he is out.

All these injuries are going to start really hurting this team at some point. We really need to win this game against the Bills so the guys who need to get healthy can have the opportunity to do so.

Well, FWIW, they haven't put him on IR yet, which is saying something. . . .

Do we know the seriousness of the injuries? We can afford to miss them for the next two games but we absolutely need them back for the playoffs.

I'd hold them out of the Miami game too as well as Wright, Pryor, Branch, and anybody else who is a little banged up. This is, of course, assuming that we beat Buffalo tomorrow.

Or the Jets lose.

I heard on PFW in progress that Hernandez supposedly got hurt on his second TD when he high stepped into the endzone. I

If true, maybe he'll grow up.

I'd think they'd try to give Wright a few snaps, if possible, just to get him some game action.

That's if his brain can handle it. Apparently that thing got rocked at one point or another.

Does this mean we will see Price for the first time?

What's wrong with Cunningham? Flu or something worse?

Sure... My point was that Wright's missed a lot of games and they'd probably rather have him take some snaps on week 17, if he's ready, than have him entering the postseason after missing a lot of games and then coming off of a bye.

Re: your sig - the Jets* are 10-4.

If he has to take some snaps, I would want it to be like Brady and Welker and have those snaps come in the first half. Should we win at Buffalo and the Jets lose (or both), I would only want guys like Brady, Welker, Gronk, McCourty, and the like playing the first half against the Dolphins. Unlike last year, the Pats won't be playing for a week afterward and it would do good just to get some tune up snaps in for the first half.
