FINALLY someone is taking notice!
Yes, New England's schedule has been a cakewalk thus far.
And folks, SOS based on the LAST season matters until the day THIS season starts. The Pats are not playing teams from last season or their strengths from last season. The Pats are playing teams from THIS season and how they're playing right NOW.
And the fact is, THIS season, the vast majority of the teams they've faced have mostly been very weak or struggling. Baltimore is the only strong team they've beaten. You can say Minnesota, SD, etc, but the fact is those teams this season are BAD. Their record from last year means literally zilch. It's how they're playing currently.
Pittsburgh's 5-2 is much, MUCH more impressive than the Pats 6-1, especially when you consider that Pittsburgh got many of those wins with their star quarterback injured.
When the Pats start putting away some more .500+ teams, then maybe it'll be safe to say they're the best. But right now they've been beating up on teams at the bottom of the league.
That's a fact folks. Try and justify it all how you will. But it is a fact.
