Here's one for the class hole "If you're not trying, than it must be the playoffs."

I have to admit, it would be fun for the Pats to sign him just to he how he would spin his previous remarks. "Oh that? Uh, I was just kidding."

he would be perfect for the pats system.......he'd be a huge upgrade over faulk and would command much more attention by the front 7 as a 3rd down back.

don't much like the guy, but to say he would not hugely upgrade the pats RB group is idiotic

Did you watch watch football in 2009?

Maybe the Bills can sign him and T.O. next season. Then we can play him twice next season :)

Enuf of the AARP Running back committee. We already have Dinos in Taylor, Faulk, Morris. We have no need for LeClassian Turdlinson

You realize it's 2010...not 2005? Right?

sure, but like I said......he would be a huge upgrade over what the pats have now and be younger than 3 other guys.

he's still a much bigger threat catching the ball out of the backfield than faulk.

No way. LdT has nothing left in his tanked.

(See what I did there? Genius.)

OK...good....but "look!!!!"?....take it easy there ,J.D. Salingerowitz

Thank you for exhibiting signs of intelligent life in this thread.

Good call. The Fujian province is one of the least gross provinces in all of China.
Probably because most of the men are overseas and there's all those international widows there for you.

Tanked, there is no way he is an upgrade over what the Pats have now. He looked old and slow this year and has fallen off dramatically. He is a shell of his former self. I would much rather Taylor, Morris, and Maroney. Faulk too.

Everyone rips Maroney for not picking up yards consistently and only averaging 3.9 YPC, but LT averaged 3.3 YPC. He did not go over 100 yards in ANY game this season. He is completely shot and would pout/cry/get all pissed off if and when he was taken out at the goaline in 09. The guy is an arrogant, sensitive baby who can't face reality. I would never want him on the Pats and hope he never sniffs the playoffs again.

And I want to see the Pats get younger at RB, not add a washed up 31 year old who has made negative remarks about Belichick and the Pats.

I don't know what you were watching, but LT was the king of the one yard td in 09, he was never taken out in goaline. 11 of LT's 12 rushing tds came in the red zone last year.

yeah he's still pretty good inside the 5 yard line, but in reality, getting injured in the playoffs vs the colts really ended his high production days (aside from his td numbers which were still good after the 07 season/playoffs)

the pats getting the mccree fumble and coming back to beat sd, despite LT running all over them, hurt him mentally going forward, but that injury in indy the following playoffs is what seemed to hurt him going forward, physically.

he was really never the same runner after that injury.

i can imagine him taking league minimum to go to dallas or new orleans, but that would still depend on if those teams want him.

He's still got value at least as a red zone rb, and some team out there may actually think he's still got value as a #1 rb...who knows

oh also that's not entirely true, he was taken out in some goal line situations in 09.....

so the 'never' part of your post isn't accurate
