[sarcasm on]

I wonder how many of the same comments would have been said about Moss, Dillon, Harrison etc before they became pats

[/sarcasm off]

San Diego is a cancerous team. I wouldnt be at all surprised to see him and Merriman do very well in new environments. Not saying it would happen but it who knows
merriman maybe, but unless LT gets on hgh like rodney harrison, his age won't let him be a real #1

goal line specialist at best

Tomlinson reminds me of Larry Johnson...Use the guy up too early in his career and he is shot when the 30 year old mark comes around
totally different

LJ was the definition of flash in the pan, once edwards had him break the carries record, he was useless

whereas LT actually had longevity in the league

08 he was merely decent, 09 he sucked, but 01-07 , LT was awesome

LJ never had that kind of longevity...at all

Yeah, committing himself professionally and personally to not only the team, but the city of SD for nine years, really makes him a baby by showing the emotion tied to it. Get a clue. I know you hate him, but give the guy some props for showing he cares about what he does and isnt afraid to show it. Takes a man to not care about what others think.

His tears were as sweet apple pie. :singing:

Eh, I think you went too far. 2006 was the last time LT was "awesome", by definition. 2007 was the first year in which he appeared to be just another good running back. 2008 the wheels began to fall off.

At least he took being shown the door like a man and not trash SD on the way out.

I heard Breer said that he met Tomlinson outside of football and the guy is really a cool dude and very nice....I bet he is.

rodney did come from sd and the chargers do have a history of suspension for ped's. i wouldn't put it past LT.

I saw him at a restaurant once, he was complaining about his soup.

Was saying how it's cold and how that probably is a reflection of the head chef, then he started to cry.

can someone explain why they didn't trade LT 3 or 4 yrs ago to some overpaying team while promoting Michael Turner.? Turner may be 27 or 28 now, but he runs like a 24 yr old because he was shelved for so many years.

At the end of the 2007 season, LT still put up an excellent year. It would have been a tough call for the 'Bolts. In hindsight, they should have dealt him but would have had to take a pretty big cap hit. Lastly it would have been a VERY risky move from a PR standpoint...
