That's a funny post in and of itself. You whine about overreactions toward Tate........ then proceed to overreact yourself in the very last line.

There is no over reacting there, that is how I feel about high picks wasted on CHUMPS like Jackson, they even TRADED UP to reach for that clown.

It is so. You compained (sounds better than "whining") about people saying that Tate was going to be a stud in the league, then turned around and said that you think he's going to be "another wasted pick". You did the exact thing that you criticized zoostation for. Personally, I'm hoping that Tate can be a solid contributer to the offense. If he morphs into a deep threat (which he did look like he was capable of this year, despite Brady not being able to hit the broad side of a barn on deep throws in the couple of games that Tate was in and beat his man in), then that's even better. However, the next season when he receives playing time will be telling as to whether or not you're right or zoostation is right.

Well, the big difference is that the Yankees went to a quarter billion dollar payroll and stayed "in contention." The Pats are need to live with a cap and that always makes it hard to keep the stable full.

Also, if the Patriots go the way of the Yankees (I think I just threw up in my mouth) then what is the NFL equivalent to blowing Game 4 up 1 run in the 9th inning with a 3-0 series lead...then systematically losing the next 3 games to go down as history's biggest chokers?

Personally I think its silly to argue about Brandon Tate seeing that he is coming off rookie IR and has yet you really play in a game long - at this time he is not a bust nor is he a future HOFer....

I think if you want to put busts on a rookie who is on IR then Shawn Crable would be more apt to discussion - Crable could be the first 3 year rookie in history

BTW: How does a thread pertaining to Schein end up with conversations about Tate?

Well he was coming off of a knee injury which he seemed to have aggravated. Personally, I don't think it was bad enough that he blew it again. At least, it certainly didn't look like it. In the little amount of time he played, he was able to get behind the defense, despite said knee problems. If Brady could have hit him, Tate *might* have gone for two TD's before being IRed again. However, like I said: he could either be the next solid contributor or he could be the next Chad Jackson. Only time and health will tell. Right now is not a good time to make a snap judgment on him.
