Benard Pollard: "I heard the same cry out of Welker that I heard out of Brady"

If I was on a deserted island with charlie manson, osama bin laden, and keith olbermann and i had a gun with only two bullets......i would shoot olbermann twice

Thread winner. I would hope I had a blow torch. I would stick it up his ass and torch his intestines... if I didn't think he would enjoy it.

I have a hard time getting upset about something that Keith Olberman says that Pollard said to Peter King. No one has any idea the tone or context or even if he is being quoted correctly.
I'm with you. Let's wait an hear the whole quote before blasting the guy. When he made the hit on Brady last year he was very apologetic and empathetic. I doubt he'll be any less sensitive after this.

LMFAO. Gotta love the tags on this one.

Greetings,

This is my first time EVER checking the tags on this board and for a while maybe I thought this was standard protocol, but had a good laugh nonetheless!!

Shalom,

I normally wouldn't wish anyone to get injured... but in this case I hope Bernard breaks his neck off one day.

The Pollard play that was VERY DIRTY yesterday was when he launched himself into Hoyer. I know there was a flag but I hope he gets a fine for that as well. Very dirty play that was extremely transparent.

You know what we need on this team? Rodney Harrison's attitude. Someone on offense should have knocked that scumbag on his arse a couple of times. Then he wouldn't have anything to say.

You Go, Girl!

What Pollard said according to King:

Texans safety Bernard Pollard told SI's Peter King that when Patriots wide receiver Wes Welker went down with a left knee injury in Sunday's New England-Houston game, he heard Welker scream the same way Tom Brady did when the quarterback suffered a knee injury in September 2008....

"I heard Wes yell out, the same way I heard Tom yell out,'' Pollard told King. "It was the same yell. It was terrible. He went down right in front of me. I saw his knee buckle, then I fell on him, and when he went down, I said, 'Just my luck.'"

Who's the queer who wants Pollard to toss their salad?

Yeah, a little different than what we were crying about here.

Pollard did nothing wrong. The fans on this board, though, making a big deal out of their own misinterpretations...

Nice of Odermann to get the quote correct:rolleyes:

I hope Pollard dies a terrible death and then burns in Hell for all eternity.

What, too subtle?

Pollard may be hated here but in reality he is a solid defensive back who we all deep inside wish were in our pathetic secondary right now as a Patriot.

The new Pollard jinx lies to whenever we play a team with Pollard we lose a big name player so if Pollard goes to another team next season we forfeit the game :)

I never wish any ill will on anyone, but if perhaps Pollard were to blow out his ACL, PCL & MCL on both knees, and Brady and Welker recorded the screaming for my enjoyment, I would not complain.

Pollard is just irritated that, once again, he was too much of a JAG to play for a playoff-worthy team. Knows that, when it's all said and done, he'll be remembered, if at all, as the guy that hurt Brady. He's not good enough to have a single real accomplishment to his name, so that's what it'll come down to.

To Peter King after the game.

To which Keith Olbermann responded "The Patriots need to sign this guy"

And then what happens? His own knees spontaneously explode within minutes of him stepping on the field in a Pats uni, or his new teammates knees go out in a series of flukey "friendly fire" incidents? :(
