We do not match up well against Buffalo

With all respect to you, Buffalo currently has the 4th best pass defense in the entire NFL.

They have the worst run defense in the NFL. Absolute bottom. Looking up at Detroit, Cleveland and St. Louis. Why would you try to get yards through the air when you can do it much easier on the ground?

They do have a good pass defense, particularly in getting interceptions. In their wins, they have had an inordinate number of interceptions ( 2 vs. TB, 6 vs. Jets, 3 vs. Carolina, 4 vs. Miami, 4 vs. KC...19 in 5 wins, 6 in 8 losses). Unless Brady has a breakdown, that doesn't trend well for Buffalo.

The Bills can certainly win this game, particularly if the Pats are more beat up than expected. I actually do expect them to keep it close into the 2nd half. With a porous run defense and a pass defense that depends on turnovers, I think the Pats should be able to close them out and finish with a comfortable win.

Sorry if I offended you but to see someone so quick to point out the Bills good points, kinda irks me after weeks and weeks of the crap that i have had to read about my team. A team that is 8-5 and supposedly your team as well.

In closing I would just like to say that all the negativity in this place sucks. Call me a homer I dont care, are you more of a fan because you like to point out every little fault? So I dont crap on the Pats for every mistake, I fricking love this team and I root for them even if they have flaws( and they do) its not my job to harp on them , me being an ass isnt going to make them better, I can support them and cheer and root and rah rah friggin rah and thats what I do. Does it make some of you feel important or smart to crap on Brady BB, Moss, or others? I'm disappointed in Maroney and Watson like a lot of you but each week I root for them to perform. The only Pat that I am truly pissed at is Adalius and thats not because of his lack of production its his damn negative chirpy mouth. Lets not be like the local media and crap on everything that gives us joy. Put it this way for those married fans out there, Do you love your spouse? Do you point out every little flaw they have? I am with you on this but BB came out and said yesterday that he made a mistake when he tried Light at RT early in his career thus he will be exclusively at LT and also stated Volmer could play at both spots. Add in our swinging door named Kazcur and conclusion is Light is our LT and Volmer our RT as we move forward this season.

they lead the league in INT plus if wilfork and warren dont go then our run d is going to suffer. With jauron gone they seem to involve TO andevans more and more daring now. 1) Run defense depends on the Wilfork injury. If he is out, run d is in trouble. Carolina's run game got going once Vince was out.

2) Maybe O'Brien can get his head out of his azz and actually run the ball more. Buff has a horrid run defense. Hello?!!!

Don't see how this would be an easy game. But time to experiment with the offense a bit...try something a little less predictable...no more 4 WR sets, where they know you're throwing...maybe some 2 TE stuff, under center, who knows.

We could possibly lose this game and then face a hungry jaxsonville and houston...egads, we could lose the division.

Their defense has also caused 30 turnovers this year. With a sufficient pass rush, as we saw in game 1, they have the capacity to win this game--no doubt. And Schobel always has good games vs. Brady. The rookie Byrd has proven to be a ball hawk, their secondary is a lot better than ours, IMO.

Terrell Owens has over 400 yds and 3 TD's in his last 3 games, something the new coach promised to do was get him the ball.

I agree with a lot of what you're saying, but everyone took game 1 for granted too. Buffalo is 2 different teams this yr, and are a different team entirely with the new coach. He has somehow found a way to pump them up.

There defense is also on the field for 40 mins a game

Very simple to beat Buffalo. Run Maroney and use play action. Bills lb's are not very good

With few exceptions, playing in Buffalo is never easy in December. While I don't agree that we don't match up well with the Bills I do think it not going to be an easy game.

First of all, my 'respect' went to the poster--not the Bills, I pointed that out but apparently you missed the boat. My respect was to Metaphors, so he didn't think I was being a smart-ass, etc. And HE understood perfectly, in all reality it didn't have anything at all to do with you in the least--did you butted in with your 6th grade humor about 'monsters under the bed.' (Good one) Ask Belichick if he checks for monsters under the bed when he talks about another teams' strentghs.

The respect didn't have a damn thing to do with any Buffalo Bills crap. Again.

Secondly, the entire thread was about how the Bills match up against us, and we were pointning out their strenghts. How the hell is that pointing out doom and gloom against the Pats? If the title of the thread was something different, and I pointed out Buffalo's strentghs--then you MAY have a point. But when everyone is actually discussing BUF's strentghs, etc, what exactly is the problem?

Sounds to me like you can't face any reality, and the first person who points out any other teams' strentghs to you is "a buffalo fan."

When we haven't won a game on the road yet in December, have lost to other division foes such as MIA and NYJ, not to mention had to come back in a 1 out of 100 chance game against the Bills the first time--we SHOULD be concerned with this game.

Ask Bill Belichick if he thinks BUF has any chance of winning this game, or about their strengths or if they're playing any different under the new coach--or is Belichick a pessimist too?

We haven't played good enough this year to take any team for granted, and since you cannot understand the point of this thread, maybe you should move on to another one.
