The I don't care about the Carolina game thread

The Pats should beat the panthers like a drum. Quite honestly, Jake Delhomme is not a very good QB anymore. And the Panthers have not been that impressive this year. If the Pats can beat the Panthers and Bills soundly in the upcoming weeks, that should help build up some confidence and maybe speak well of their chances in the playoffs. But you need to WIN the games that you should WIN. These two upcoming games are two of those.

Re: The I don't care about the Carolina game thread.

Are you serious?

I've been a Pats fan since 1971, and I've seen much worse than this. I'll be working on Sunday so I'll only get to see parts of the game, but I certainly won't say to hell this team. I'll call them out for lousy performance when they don't play well, but I'm with them thick and thin.

Amen brother! It's these "rough" patches, wow I can't believe I'm calling a winning record and being in first place in the division a rough patch, that makes the great times that much more rewarding. COME ON GUYS!

NUT will be watching. Book it. ;)

Honestly, anyone who doesn't care about the game isn't a real fan of the Patriots. I don't care if they don't look like they can win the Super Bowl right now. A real fan would support the team even if they don't appear to be a Super Bowl favorite. They can still win the division and get into the playoffs and this game against Carolina is big.

(and yes I do realize that a lot of you are being sarcastic. I'm just addressing people I've seen on here that are actually giving up on the team.)

So this is what it looks like when the sky is falling in NE, lol.

It has been an ugly year to be a panthers fan. A QB who can't stop throwing touchdowns for the other team. A playcaller that has gotten even more conservative, if that's possible. A fanbase clamoring for bill cowher while wanting to dump the winningest coach in our franchise only a year removed from going 12-4.

Sucks guys. Enjoy having a winning team while you have one, because things can change quickly in the NFL, no matter how good you are.

I understand the frustration given the way the team has played this year, but to not watch the game? How about you donate any of your Pats gear to someone who would appreciate it and jump on another team's bandwagon...

Re: The I don't care about the Carolina game thread.

i'll wash my socks to start with then move on to folding them along with my under ware.

The trouble is that winning this game will build maybe 1% confidence in this team. Unless it's an absolute truncheoning. Please, let it be so...

I hate to admit this but my daughter bought tix for everyone to go see the 'Nutcracker' in Boston as it's my wife's birthday, so I will be watching ballet.

Where do I go to return my man card?

Jake Delhomme is not even a remotely functional QB at this stage in his career. He is the reason they are 5-7.

Jake Delhomme will not be on the field however to assist the Patriots as he has other teams this year.

Carolina however can play up and compete with just about anyone though on good days....and they even did that despite Jake much of this season. Carolina destroyed AZ. Carolina was also able to take it to the Saints for the majority of the game and was up......they also had the ball w/ under two minutes down by 3. Those are really the only pass heavy teams they have faced this year.....

Carolina should lose. They also have enough playmakers to compete especially with Jake off the field. Matt Moore is 3-1 in Carolina and brings to the table basically what the "old Jake" use to.

If NE doesn't get up early I don't think it is realistic to assume NE can contain the Carolina running game. I think Carolina will lose....but they will give the Patriots a much tougher game than the fanbase is probably expecting.

Nothing wrong with that. Keep the card and be proud. Now, if you start wearing the tutu.......

No way.

Just daydreaming about all those lithe, muscular young men in tights...

You people better be joking.....

This thread will make me sick if any of you are honest.

They made a ballet about Logan Mankins?

Re: The I don't care about the Carolina game thread.

as funny as this thread is it seems to be true

I went through a few Panther forums and I could find nothing about the upcoming game. All they wanted to talk about was Bill Cowher, John Fox, and Joke Delhomme

seriously. We went from being a 12-4 team to one of the worst possible situations in our franchise history. Jake is done. Cowher may or may not be here but Fox is gone. That should save you the trouble of looking through the many pointless threads we have going.

I'm more interested in seeing how Matt Moore will do against this D that suddenly has lost some of its luster. I KNOW what the playcalling will be, it's very predictable. WATCH OUT FOR THOSE 3rd n 10s weve got some crazy misdirections drawn up for D.Will

lol your team has been awesome for so long and you guys are quitting on this team for a mediocre season? Be a panthers fan for a day, or a browns fan, or a bucs fan...you guys should be ashamed.

This thread is full of sarcasm. Very little of us are quitting as many of us remember the losing seasons before 2001. The 5 losses are simply helping us to jettison are local bandwagon artists, which is a good thing.

I am ashamed.

But not about this.

just making sure...if you go to our board over at carolinahuddle.com you will realize what it is like to have a losing season more recently...it is quite funny actually...things are pretty bad with our team right now and we aren't too sure what is going to happen.
