Default Why am i supposed to believe that Tony Dungy is a good person?

I don't understand why i am supposed to believe that he is a good guy.

Why is he a good guy?

I'll even throw out all the stuff that makes him look like a jerk.
there.
its gone.
now explain.

Why is he such a great guy? Just because he's religious?

It's generally the overly religious you have to worry about...

But good point. I haven't ever heard anything that would suggest that he is a better person than BB or anyone. All I have ever heard is that he is nice to the media, he is religious, he tries to have a good image (IMAGE, not his actual personality), and his players like him. REALLY!!! His players like him!! WOW. What a great guy. His players love him. Well, didn't Belichecks players love him so much they embraced him after the spygate crap?

I know religious people, like the Muslim Fundamental Terrorists, or that church in the south that pickets at dead American Soldiers burials saying that god is striking down the gays, etc. Sounds like nice people, huh.

You should read his book, seriously. I think a lot of opinions on this board would sincerely be changed if people even took the time to read even a few chapters of his book

As tragic of an event as it was, people seem to forget that his son (who took his own life) clearly was not brought up well. He was obsessed with guns, violence, black supremacy, etc. Whatver reason for this, I don't know, but after Dungy went through this ordeal I think he has been respected more.

nobody should have to suffer through that.

But that doesn't tell me why he's such a good person.
A lot of people have terrible things happen to them and move on to live successful lives.

But why is he such a good person?

Because he's in support of strong family values...

At least that's what he said in speaking before an anti-gay group opposed to gfa marriage
