The next 5 teams we play would kill for Carlton Davis, and he would be their CB1.
Austin looked the part in TC it was all a dream like me hitting that mass cash ticket!! C. DAVIS cashed in on FA with us a symptom of the Jerod rust season.. we were going to have to over pay.. realistically he's a 7 million dollar CB.. if woods ever develops into anything he's probably the guy who would supplant Davis..

We paid him a decent amount of money to get the vast majority of WR targets, because no one's throwing at 0.

He's in a tough spot, because he gets thrown on way, way more, so of course he's going to give up more. He's not Gonzalez. The next starting #2 in my mind is playing in college this year.

I'll be watching him closely Tommy.
Me too..

He should be making more plays becuase of it. I remember when the Jets had cromatie and revis.. cromatie said publicly he hopes that we throw at him.. the #2 CB on this team is Marcus Jones.. look i like Davis.. he's not a JAG he's just not a 20M CB.. he got paid as we were going to overpay in FA from where we were.. last season. Kudos to C Davis for cashing out.

Sorry maybe I should have said lures him away.

All good sir, I knew you meant 'poaches' but pouches was just sitting there tasking me. We gotta take our laughs where we can get them

Absolutely laughter is good for the soul. It's something we all should want to do more in life..

Thought I spelt it wrong but you know....

We are like 5 or 6 in points allowed per game so it would seem to be one of those weird quirky things. I guess we're good at keeping teams out of the red zone then.

Good news is we're a good D and if we clean up that one area we could be even better. But I wouldn't over think it too much either as they are playing good.
The Patriots have played mostly crap offenses and let them score once in the red zone. Good news, they are awesome on 3rd down and good between the 20s. However, first drive and red zone defense are terrible. Too much zone that gets dlpicked apart by mediocre qbs
