I think trading future picks is ok as long as it is reasonable (this year's first for a second and next year's first) or as a throw in (like adding a future 3rd round pick to a trade), as long as it doesn't get out of hand.

i've never used the private message feature. is there something built into the site or do you click on a name and send an email?

click on the name not everyone accepts them and it's not an email it right thought hte site

It's built in .... Go into the UserCP and enable it (I think it's on the left under Edit Options) ... Then, click on a name and the dropdown will have the option to Private Message and individual. You mailbox info will be in the upper-right part of the page.
