Devey actually looked pretty ok in the 49ers blocking scheme Monday. Could see why Scar and BB liked him, thing is he just didn't pan out for what the Pats do blocking wise. He even pancaked Shariff Floyd once or twice.

This doesn't surprise me. Devey got killed here and for good reason. He was brutal.

BB and the staff know talent. If the player does not have talent, flat lines and a player with better upside comes around, that player is gone. If that player has talent, but seems to be not a system fit, they tend to stick around a bit to see if they adapt, they are then cast aside.

Clearly they liked Devey. He just didn't work out here.

Andrews was fine during preseason.

If he sucked he'd be shuttling luggage off of planes right now.

He wasn't perfect but was not out of place in the preseason.
