Year of the Underdog: Pats not favored in a single game

I mean, at this point in the offseason they're probably going almost entirely on last year's record. And since the only teams with worse records than the Pats were the Panthers and Commanders, Patriots would only be favored against them (and maybe only if they're playing in Gillette). As such, they don't play either of them. The only reason Washington isn't the underdog every game is because they have a game against Carolina.
If the bettors are wrong, then posters should consider bet4ting on the patriots. After all, the under and over is 4.5 wins at some places and 5.5 at others.

Good way to get in or out of debt.

So if I bet every game that the Pats cover, will I come out ahead?

I'm circling that Titans game as their sole chance to avoid the goose egg.

On the other hand, ARod's other Achilles has a chance to do something really amazing in Week 1...

Titans, AZ, Indy, The most winnable games.
It’s some sad ish

Your exactly right. But what I can say is the QB position would have to be circa 2023 if we are picking in the top 5 again.. Personally I don't believe you will be seeing Brissett. I believe Drake is starting week 1. Just my opinion
If Drake Maye is the opening day starter, I will quit being a Patriots fan.

You can moan and grown, after all that's what fans do. But you never quit.

This looks like an opportunity to make some money, no way they go 0-17 but you would have to pick the right games now to make money. Things could change over the season.

Only way to go is up, I guess!

dangerous betting on a complete unknown

I think they can be a 8-9/7-10 team those season, depending upon how a couple of close games break.

I know, that's the chance you take, wouldn't bet my house but 100 bucks on games I like you could clean up.

Seattle?

who knows how well Mike McDonald will do... helps that they are flying across the country...

One might bet that the patriots will score more than 4 wins. 4.5 is the current under/over on 3 betting sites. Bettors think that, at this point, we the worst team in the NFL.

Dolphins at NE
Rookie #15 draft pick Mac Jones at QB
NE -3
Mia +3

Isn't the narrative Brissett is a much better QB than Mac
The OL and WRs were better.

But no, I don't think that's the argument at all. They moved on from Jones and need a veteran placeholder until their rookie QB is ready. No way Jones could fill that role, for obvious reasons.

would really like to steal a victory early on... week 2 in seattle looks promising... the longer you go 0-fer, the harder teams start to press... i would like to avoid that scenario

I'm ok with going 5-12 or 6-11 and securing another top 10 pick. And I believe that's around our talent level.

With a top 10 pick we should be able to find a franchise LT or maybe an elite WR1 to add to the mix. So that's also better for our future prospects.

Would rather not pick up unnecessary/lucky wins with a rebuild in progress. It does nothing to help us in the long run by 'stealing' wins when the talent level doesn't merit it.

I am too, new regime, new QB, get another top ten pick and with Maye getting some experience maybe we compete for a playoff spot next year and then, who knows as long as it's up.
