WR's as of tomorrow

Branch,Caldwell,Brown,Johnson,Childress,Smith
plus some practice squaders

We are talking to Moulds and the guy from KC.

We might draft one or two.

Is this aweful?

I want Moulds really bad! I feel he would be a great player opposite Branch. Still has a lot left in the tank because of all the under-utilized years in Buffalo. But do you think Buffalo is going to trade with the Pats?

I think that core will WORK, as long as our O-Line stays healthy and we can release Graham/Watson. However....

I think it will be GREAT is if we can just get a solid #2 in there via (in order of what I think would most work);

A.) Nate Burleson (I think we'd have a great WR group with Burleson lining up opposite Branch with Caldwell or Troy in the slot)

B.) Moulds (I dont see this as very likely but Moulds would replace Givens and more.)

C.) Draft. Although, WR dont usually produce immediately so i'd be hesitent on anyone from the draft starting as our #2.

I don't think Buffalo will trade with us, but we'll see. After all, they have a senile owner.

I don't think anyone is going to give up even a 2nd. for Moulds at this point in his career.

It's looking more and more to me that the Pats will take a receiver in the 1st round. I know that's un-Patriot like, but Chad Jackson would look good in Patriot blue (or Santonio Holmes for that matter).

Honestly, I think there are at least a couple who could EASILY replace Givens. He was a good, solid player. Let's not build him up to be more than he was.
