I didn't agree with taking a QB there at all. There was this kid from Iowa State whom I liked but as a late-round/UDFA type... The name's right on the tip of my tongue...

Williams never showed anything remotely close to being a starter let alone a and round pick.. another CB draft bust.. probably just as Many as the WR bust.. Wheatley, whilhite, Dowling, Darius butler, Dawson, Cyrus Jones..

I actually liked the Darius Butler pick at the time it was made, and feel that Bill gave-up on him too soon.

He was better than all of them. He put up 140 yards and 3 TDs in a SB. 3 time super bowl winner and Patriote all dynasty team says otherwise.

The entire team was stacked from 2014-2017 and would have been the favorite to win the SB each year had they been healthy. The irony is that the 2018 team was worse, really the beginning of the decline, but managed to pull it all together in the playoffs and take home the title that the 2015 and 2017 teams couldn’t, partly because they were healthy while those other teams weren’t.

What also helped the 2018 team is that Bill, to his credit, made some nice off-season/draft weekend trades for Jason McCourty, Trent Brown, Danny Shelton & Weapon CP.

He certainly was a controversial pick in 2005. Most people hated it, but he proved a lot of people wrong. Bill couldn't duplicate it with Strange.

Because Mankin$, unlike Strange69, was a multi-year starter at Left TACKLE at a Division ONE program.

Bethel Johnson wasn't a total bust I remember him making some plays here and there.

Better than BoneyT, but still Way overdrafted based on his limited receiving production. I wouldn't have even started looking at him until Day 3.

Vs George Pickens who has oven mitts and it makes a massive difference catching a football in traffic.
