WR T.J. Moe, six others released

Except I wouldnt exactly call Moe camp fodder. He was one of their priority free agents a year ago and actually received guaranteed money to sign here.

Why wouldn't they bring him to TC and let him compete, he could have been borderline 53 man roster or PS candidate? And why cut all these players who do close to nothing in terms of salary cap help?

I think they are bringing back Edelman which would make Moe expendable.

They still didn't see him valuable enough to draft and day 3 plays get cut all the time before their first season even begins.

Being a priority undrafted free agent literally means nothing.

It means they clearly valued him enough to give him more money than a typical UDFA. Yeah they usually get cut IN CAMP. I don't understand why they would cut him before OTAs or TC.

I didn't even know that Hines, Fisher, and Schwab were still on the team.

Pity. I wanted Gronk to walk by him and any player named Larry and say, "Moe, Larry, Cheese." Guys named Larry are a dime a dozen, but Moe...

Except the Larry that everybody wants. He's 10,000,000 dozen dimes.

People have to remmeber the deapt on this years draft, makes some ppl who is going undrafted, but could be a 6 or 7 round pick in another draft. So haveing ALOT of Space is a good thing.

The combined cap savings of the not so magnificent 7 will not even reach 6 figures.
Getting rid of Hines, Reed & the 2 OLmen is understandable; getting rid of Hey Moe,
McGuff & Gus Grissom is much less so.
If having A LOT of cap Space is a good thing, then releasing Wilfork, Kelly & Soap
would be a great thing.

Releasing Sopoaga should be mandatory.

Come on Bill, draft a decent defensive tackle for a change and not a bust like Ron Brace.
