How will we make it without this special team ace? lol

Good thing he took that course on how to read and interpret...

Used to be OL, now it's WRs.
Exactly!
It used to be a guard every summer. Sometime between the fitness run and the first pre-season game, one veteran guard would retire.
We have had a couple WR's recently - Reggie Wayne, Torry Holt, David Patten; did Nate Washington, Deion Branch, or Chad Ocho Cinco formally retire?
But nothing like the annual guard retirement run they had.

Does this open up a spot for the recently exonerated Lucky Whitehead?

Wouldn't it be great if Lucky ended up winning a ring with the Pats so he could stick it up Jerrah's a......

Got his Masters from Columbia with a 4.0 gpa-did this in the offseason while in the NFL.

Now pursuing his PhD in business and economics.

He said his body just didn't respond properly thru otas and summer workouts.

Obviously highly intelligent, glad he got even a brief taste of the Pats.

They already got a rocket scientist in Matty P., maybe Hawkins shows up on Pats staff in the future.

No kidding. Get this guy working the salary cap or doing some advanced analytics.

Someone posted here his lt goal is an NFL gm gig. Couldn't get better ojt than Prof. BB. A PhD in economics couldn't hurt either.

It was ridiculous. Joe Panos, Rich Tylski and Brenden Stai...3 straight years. Robert Gallery was a few years ago I think

Branch and Ocho each spent about a month with another team before admitting it was over (well, wasn't much of a choice for the latter).

He posted this video 15 hours ago. Watching him get pounded and crushed kind of makes me think this was a factor in him saying he was through.

Wow, he took a couple crazy dirty hits in those highlight reels

If he was also a return specialist, Cyrus Jones can also rest a little bit easy... for now anyways.

Hawkins was never a returner, AFAIK. Never been able to find any return stats for him, anyway.
