I think I would take Price and a pick, but would you give Detroit a third for Rodgers.... ??

I would take Detroit's 3rd and Rogers...just to take on his salary...

That's a pretty dumb answer considering his salary is only around $750K and he could be cut anytime without much cap consequences since Detroit keeps the bonus amount on their cap if they trade him.

I'd probably give two 4th round picks for him. One this year, one next year. He is incredibly talented, but just hasn't been able to stay healthy.

You're right Sean m8, I'd take Price and give Rodgers a 200yd head start. If I miss he's probably healthy enough for a try out.

We had this same thread about a month ago

In a heartbeat. And I doubt it would take more than a 4th to land him.

definatly he's a big target for Brady at 6-2 and he still younger id give a 4th rounder for him no doubt!

He has a drug problem which has gotten him suspended, he has been suspended for refusing to do what is asked of him in practice, and his collar bone breaks when DBs breathe on him.

Oh yeah, and he has not been at all productive in the rare games when he is on the field.

And people would give up a pick for him?

if Bill really believes hes back to pre trouble form.. i would take him quickly. very fast and good size and was a former 1st round pick

my point was more satirical than anything--the gist is: I don't want Rogers on the Pats if it is going to cost us anything. Even if the kid had a future, he has been touched by the anti-midas--Matt Millen...

Yea and 20 bucks says i break his arm.

As always, it depends on an interview and what Belichick hears from behind the scenes. If they think he's a good guy who's made mistakes it could be a chance for a true steal . . . if they think he's a bad guy then we know they won't be interested.

no, this guy has had a questionable off the field history and has SERIOUS collarbone issues(has broken it last 2 years).

i saw his salary was only 757917, but hes gotta be making a crap load in bonuses, this guy was a top 5 pick.

No, but **** Cheney would.

Forget Rogers. Go for Roy Williams. Now thats a dream worth having!

NOt happening...Detroit isn't that dumb..although??? They did draft 3 WRs straight..1st rounders... (I think they thought there would be a shortage..and wanted to be prepared..)

you sure about that?

rookie yr:
game 1: 4 rec, 38 yds, 2 td, 1 carry, 12 yds
game 2: 4 rec, 38 yds, 1 carry, 5 yds
game 3: 6 rec, 54 yds
game 4: 4 rec, 62 yds, 1 td
game 5: 4 rec, 51 yds

AND that's as a rookie
pretty decent if you asked me

He's essentially been on the field for 1 season (15 games) in 3 years:

36 catches 440 years and 4 TDs.

That is not productive.
