For ONE ****ing decent year out of THREE?!?

Naturally, good company man Lazar agrees whole-heartedly.

**** that ****.

Buh-bye Joshie.

yea if BB didnt pay Chandler Jones, he certainly isnt going to pay Uche. Chandler is Tiers above Uche and BB didnt feel he was worth extending

The payscale has changed significantly since Jones was here.
A lot will depend on where the Pats LIST Uche at. If they list him at DE, then it's unlikely he'll get an extension since that Franchise tag number will START at 24.5M. If it's at LB, they MAY do it since it would only be 20.1M.

If not him then somebody else please, because we're still short one decent player at Outside CB, ass-uming one of Jonathan Jones or Jalen Mills is moved to Free Safety to play the DMac role.
No need to move them. Plenty of safety candidates. They are replacing an old, slow veteran.

If not Mills or Jonathan, who would you like to see being given first crack at FS? I have concerns about the ability of Phillips, Peppers and even Dugger to cover the deep parts of the field as well as DMac did, even during his final couple of seasons here.

McCourty has never been "slow" in his entire career... He had elite speed for the majority of his career, and then that tailed off to just good speed at the end of it

He was never "slow", so that's just a really inaccurate representation of him. I have a feeling people will be missing him this year, because a lot of what he did went unnoticed.

This is my biggest concern at FS. IMO Phillips, Peppers or Dugger are not fast enough to play single deep FS….this would turn into Bend and Break. I am far more confident Jo. Jones can play the position at a high level more then anyone else who may be on the 53.

I've said Dugger from Day 1. Leave Philips and Peppers up front. I like them both and especially Peppers attitude. We need more attitude like he has. I just think Dugger is quicker with very good instincts. I never thought of McCourty as instinctive. Bledsoe is still unknown. Can't waste JonJones cover ability at safety.

He was fast but he was mostly a step away from making the play. I'll apologize later if warranted.

I don't disagree with this, especially compared to his 2014-19 peak, when he was one of the best FSs in football.
