Woodhead proves that...

Re: Woodhead proves that.....

the Faulk injury while not good at all is a blessing in disguise. we all know that the pats were going to have to find and train up a person to take over that role in the offense and now we have 2 potential people for that role in Woodhead and Edelman (more of a stretch i know) and on top of that we have the best in the game to train them up and that is Faulk himself

Kevin Faulk may be irreplaceable in our hearts, but Father Time waits for no man. Kevin Faulk replaced Dave Meggett's production, and in turn his production will be replaced. Entering this season the only age left on the Team from the Superbowl years, were at WR and RB. The WR corps is being rebuilt and it appears there is an injection of youth coming to the RBs, in both places, sooner than anticipated.

The 2010 Pats are very young, fast, and talented; and the 2011 Pats will be young, fast, talented, and experienced everywhere.

I'm sure the Capt'n will dream up more exotic reasons why everyone is a bum; but I like the Coming Defense. It will be very good. Simply based on the all ready producing strength up the middle. There are dawning Probowlers from front to back. Willfork is at NT, to Mayo at ILB, to Meriwether and Chung at the Safeties. There is other young talent all over the Defense; and the Offense has talent spread through out it too. The two most critical positions are filled for the next five years at QB and LOT, in Brady & Hoyer and Light & Volmer.

Please tell me this is a joke.

My pleasure: This entire thread is a joke.

Woodhead's ascension ~ something I and others called, beforehand ~ is a completely separate matter from Faulk's injury.

Only the lowest and most empty headed form of life would celebrate Faulk's injury, or declare that Woodhead's success means that Faulk's injury was a good thing.

He made a really nice block on Tates kick return touchdown.
