Wouldn't be a surprise if he was put there this week, which means the corresponding move would be made tomorrow or Saturday.

You left out the most baffling part .. in order to make space for him they first cut DT Hughes (now on Tampa 53) for whom they cut A Johnson who played pretty good (exposing him to waivers) and in the end also cut Cooper (now on Browns 53). (Harbor of course is on Lions 53 .. saw most snaps among TEs in his 1st game there)

The only substantial evidence of Scruggs secret Patriot life were his words that he had trouble entering the facility (the ghost of Vollmer helping him out) and now the sight of him on crutches.

My understanding is that he got hurt during Tuesday's practice..
