Neither of those guys are really that good. I don't think McPherson is even in the league.

But coming out of Maryland they all had almost exactly the same description. Quick, fast, etc.

So why waste a #1 on dominique foxworth again?

Foxworth had incredible measurables but questionable football instincts. Some excerpts from his draft profile:

Struggles to recognize routes...
seems to shy away going up for the ball....
Seems to shuffle and take false steps in transition...
does not time his leaps well...
lacks natural hands...

That's not Josh Wilson at all. At the same time, while I like the player I wouldn't spend a 1st on him.
