Bingo. After putting that bomb on game tape, the very act of trotting Tyms out on the field creates problems for the defense and opportunities for the Pats on an underneath route.

Great catch, but very poor decision by Brady to throw it into triple coverage (one of which was tight coverage) on 1st down on a receiver who isn't top 10 in the league.

If you're going to take those risks, save them for 3rd down. That ball could've just as easily been intercepted.
