Will the Lions really go 0-16?

It seems like every other year there's at least one team that threatens to go winless the entire season. In 2000 it was the Chargers, in '96 it was the Jets, in '97 it was the Colts, last year it was the Dolphins.

The pundits (particularly former players) say it will never happen, because when you play at this level guys are just too good to be that bad. Sooner or later things will come together, they'll get the spark one afternoon and pull it off. Some say it's harder to go 0-16 than 16-0. (And in all fairness... ).

But then again, the 2008 Lions are god-awful.

Thoughts?

The Lions' remaining schedule is brutal.

I think we're looking at 0-16.

The fact that they gave up a 17-0 first quarter lead at home speaks volumes of just how bad this team is.

vs Titans (10-1)
vs Vikings (6-5)
@ Colts (7-4)
vs Saints (6-5)
@ Packers (5-6)

After watching the Dolphins beat the Ravens last year, I'd say, they still have a chance of getting at least 1 win.

Yes... they can go 0-16. They are that god awful.

They are certainly trying their best too, I don't think they will though. They'll snatch one somewhere.

All of the thanksgiving games are on over here so I'll have to check out just how bad they are. Haven't really seen Detriot this season.

I hope so. I really want to see an 0-16 team just for the hell of it. But there's always the shocking late season upsets with these awful teams, so you never know.

The Lions will go 0-16, after todays game, hope is all but lost. Start looking at trading that #1 pick Lions.

I was positive they would do this when I watched them on Thanksgiving against the Titans (the only time I've seen them this year). Easily one of the worst teams I've ever watched.

Though it would have been fitting had their only win come at Green Bay.

Now I can say I saw the first team to ever go 16-0 in the regular season, and then the next year saw the first team to go 0-16.
