From KFFL:

Mike Prisuta, of the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, reports the Pittsburgh Steelers are not close to a deal with first-round pick WR Santonio Holmes, but they are making progress. Steelers chairman Dan Rooney said the team will give him another chance to fix his reputation, but added, "He has to realize this is a great opportunity to be a very good player on a very good team, but to do that, he has to make some sacrifices. He's gotta be on the straight and narrow."

It's tough to sacrifice your Baaad Boy ways just to make a dollar......it just doesn't seem fair.

Give the Steelers credit here. They are going about this the way I would expect the patriots to.

The Steelers are obviously not the Dolphins or the Ravens or the Raiders.

HAHA!!

Man what a tough choice, behave yourself and have the chance to become an idol to millions of people all over the world and get a $**T load of money doing it.

Or, be a dumb ***** off the field and not getting the chance to show what you can do on the field and screwing up your while career.

I just wouldn't know what to do
