As much as I think the Patriots forcing Branch's hand yesterday had no pretense, I can't help but wonder this myself? No word that I've seen says Jackson is playing. But wouldn't that just put a collective smile on Patriots Nation's face if the rookie WR shows up and catches a ball or two?

Not to mention it will freak out Branch and his agent.

I'd like to see him out there only if he is totally healthy. Hamstring injuries are one of those things that if not properly rested, could linger for months and months without ever getting back to 100%.

Correct! My dad was saying the Pats are very happy with Jackson and are treating him very carefully. I was Jackson 100% for the playoffs (as BB say by then they are no longer rookies).

Apparently it's Butch Stearns because he said the same thing on WEEI the other day. Unfortunately, I get the impression that Butch rarely knows what he's talking about.

I'd love to see Chad Jackson but he hasn't practiced and we all know the rule.
